Need to look at the overall offering, the non R3 looks good with the price, specially if R3 is only cosmetic and the previous version doesn't lack features. Overall a good addition, now its Al Haj's time to apply the lessons learnt with FAW V2 and make it successful.

Tbh I wasn't too sure about the Saga, interior is definitely dated and it just looked too small like a Margalla. But for the price it seems to be a very decent option, much better than the Cultus. This is a really good Malaysian review on it, very informative, not your typical Pakistani review (chrome patti di gayi hai, piano black grill di gayi hai, gaari ki character lines dekhein, etc etc)

For a car like picanto there is a wait time of 3 to 4 months , cultus vxl too has a long wait time. Someone told me that there is 1.5 lac own money on picanto auto ( what the world has come to?). Seriously guys?

Proton has a big opportunity to capture the market by giving quick deliveries , a delivery time of 3 4 months will tick the customers off. See how less is alsvin talked about these days especially after the price increase. Give deliveries within a month time and there is a lot of potential to capture 2 million market.

There is NOW a new rumor that Proton is not very happy with the official price document leak and now considering a change in pricing. Again this is just a rumor at this time. I hope if there is a change, its a reduction in prices.. lol..

I think CKD only. They only imported 20 units as per info and seems like for dealers display.

For now it's just a rumor. Yesterday I was reached out by some Proton officials to remove the facebook post of pricing. I declined. I was asked who shared these pricing and I told them, its publically available. Proton guys were not happy at all.

They have taken so much time to plan the launch event. I doubt if they are revising the pricing.

Maybe seeing the dollar go down something changes. But these 20 display cars are here for a long time now.

They might put local and imported price tags separately.

I saw one today outside their under construction showroom in faisalabad in maroon colour it looks quite nice although a bit small still in person looks a lot better then the likes of Yaris
