Malaysia has no AWD.. its discontinued. Every variant of Proton X70 in Malaysia is FWD [ low demand of AWD ] and in Malaysia it's also 1.8T

Malaysia is a different country. In Pakistan, AWD will definitely help in snowy roads of Murree and steep roads of northern areas. Sportage is proof that AWD is in demand.

Tbh lane departure warning and blind spot thing are going to be super useless in Pakistan, one can do without these.

There are 6 airbags that's cool.

For lane departure, the roadway must be properly marked and properly visible. Unameked , dirty, dull lanes are not detected by camera and the lane departure don't work.

Works great with 70 mai gps module , also can confirm working perfectly in MG HS. Lightly marked or dull lanes are perfectly detected . Can be life saving for highway/motorway travelers.

Awd might help but for snowy roads chains are must . Awd only provide better traction , but in Pakistan it's in demand because of false marketing . That sportage marketing ad ran for months showing sportage traveling in Kachas and people since have been mistakenly taking awd as 4wd.

Well.. light road markers or dull road markers can or cannot be detected.. it's a hit or miss for camera .. especially at night or at certain times of the day when the sunlight is at certain angle.

That the reason overseas DOT now specify to use brighter white and reflective road markers [ cost two to three times more than conventional road marking ] and its redone regularly. I have observed that not all highways and roadways are well marked.. even certain sections of motorways have dull lines. I remember when I used to work with NHA, road markers had the least budget and the most neglected part of maintenance.

Anyways, if its working for dull lines it's good . I was just sharing that for system effectiveness.

So went to ittehad motors isb today, the car looks really good in person and the build quality is top notch too. 2 premium variants were on display.
Took test drive aswell, the awd was available for test drive and that car was not just used but it was abused as it had done mire than 35k kms and was giving some weird sound on kick down from the rear side so not a good idea to give test drive on that car.
I think the car has pretty similar pick as vezel if not faster.

I went to their showroom in Lahore located at Queen's Road, build quality is awesome, looks amazing in red, acceleration is far better than Civic or Vezel, full of options. They are booking on the sticker price, delivery time is between 90 to 120 days.

BTW, they are still unable to get the sim slot of the head unit function properly with Pakistani sim.

I am confused between red and black, red looks amazing but resale is a huge issue. Any suggestion guys?
