So as expected, dealerships have limited allocations, so some are trying to milk the opportunity and make extra bucks. Reprehensible behavior.

Of course there is no price guarantee on ckd units, as no one knows what the situation will be like in 6 months time.

Booking started from today, ppl were paying by cheque today n from Monday they will inform them about delivery dates.

FWD Premium have 9 kenwood speakers + subwoofer. AWD executive have 8 speakers.

Booking closed in Islamabad as per available information.. for CBU ..dealer asking 6.2 Million..

CKD booking is open but no timeline for delivery..can be September 2021 onwards. June July delivery is a fairytale.

Also actual price at time of delivery.. Again unconfirmed reports that the CKD price will jump.

No premium being charged at Lahore franchise, as per my knowledge they had booked about 60 vehicles by 1600 hours

There was no info on premium and even the showroom owner had no idea about this premium charges.

A red and a black car were displayed while a grey or silver was being used for test drive. Red one was giving stunning looks moreover 19 inch rims were also very nice. 18 inch rims on the AWD were so so. Interior and steering was okaish...

Right now they were taking booking for CBU units, no booking for CKD.

Like i said the test drive car was pretty abused one but still no vibration at all. Turbo lag to hai but picks up well after few seconds

It might be that the Chinese use a different alogorithm altogether ? But that's sad that lowest budget being allocated to one of the most important aspect.

So, X70 headunit is not capable of Android auto/ apple carplay , So no google maps, waze or other Google or iOS apps..

There is new mirror link functionality QDLink recently revealed on X50 but not sure if the CBU units X70 have that available.

Ended up at the Proton showroom today. It's besides Ittehad Steel Mills, and being run by the same entity.
Lots of people, with payorders in hand ready to order. However, I got a very weird vibe. Was told that the usual time for FWD delivery is 90-120 days, but the salesman was acting very slick, told me if I make 2M payment right now, he will get me delivery.
Now let's get to the vehicle... It's pretty nice from the outside. The rear is very european though the front is very bland. The seats were nice, felt snug but the interior is a huge huge turnoff. Infact, it's kind of weird... Very plastic and bland. Somehow the dashboard proportions are very weird, looks cheap and ruins the experience of a 5M ride. Anyways, that's my feedback.
Btw, the dealer was offering ready delivery of the AWD variant on full payment.

Really? It looks very nice on camera, much more premium than the bland Sportage/Tucson interiors. Haven't heard this complain from anyone else.
