Punjab Smart Card Delayed

Received card at home address. Visited excise office and received file after giving them photocopy (reason: scanning contract is ended). They also told that your number plates are ready. So collected Number plates from NRTC factory. Glad to do all this legally without agent.

i havent recieved the number plates, the car was registered in Mar 22, the dealership says number plates are delayed from the end of excise office, to whom shud i contact? how to get the plates?

Yes in Punjab. Excise office should be able to tell whether plates are ready or not. If plates are ready, but not dispatched and if you are in Lahore, check from window at NRTC factory situated at Maulana Shaukat Ali road. If dispatched, you can track plates from Pakistan Post website. If dispatch fails, plates will come to your excise office.

Assalamualaikum, i applied for car transfer last month 6th of july, i currently have old book not smart card, i attached both biometrics,token and tranfer recipeipt with f form and submitted it, the who was collecting it i asked him dont u need file and book he said no, original file and book is with me, i am wondering have they changed the procedure? And by the way 1 month has passed online status still didnt changed nor any dispatching news of smart card.

My car is Rawalpindi no, and i am talking about Rawalpindi excise.

Same problem I'm facing. I have trasferred the bike registration to my own name in July. and they said no need to submit old card and they said new registration card will be delivered to your home.
It is been 2 months and still no card recieved at home.

I have applied for a bike registration card and it has been two months, and I have not received it yet.

Mujhay b abi nae mila yaar smart card, 1.5 mahinay se upar ho gya hai. Online b status change nae huwa.

Finally i can see that the status of my car is now showing on the Punjab car verification page. It is showing that the card printing is now in progress. So i applied for this registration in May, 2022 and it took them 3 months just to show it on the digital database. The registration process is complete and the card printing is in progress. I will still pay them a visit to check if i will receive the file manually or it will be shipped just like the card that gets shipped automatically to my home.

Yes, for a new car registration which is being registered for the first time they take that from you. Otherwise, its usually the TO form along with ID cards that has to be submitted for a normal transfer.

I have been checking on and off but it took them more than 1.5 months to simply bring the card printing status up. Abhi print hoga phir dispatch hoga and then i will receive it, if you ask them tou woh yahy kehtay hain keh koi timeline nahi hay kyun keh in keh number plate bananay wala vendor or Smart cards bananay wala vendor aksar bhag jata hay due to non payments and stuff.
Unfortunately jub say token tax pay kia hay ab woh status bhi nazar nahi a raha !

Yeah card was delivered through Pakistan Post and was returned on its own for some reason but i collected it from Excise office.

Does Pakistan post shows you the status of your package upon entering the vehicle number? i recently got a used car and get it transferred to my name, the Punjab vehicle verification started showing the new owner details as soon as we were done with biometrics, however, the card status was in printing and now its been a month since it changed to dispatch and I have not revived it yet, upon entering the vehicle number in the Pakistan Post portal, I do see a history of the package of No. plates which were delivered to the previous owner. but nothing is there about smart card.

So team finally, i applied for registration back in May, 22 and today i have received my smart card by Pakistan post. I have still not yet received my file though but i took them around 5 months to deliver my smart card so now you know how much time it takes on average these days.
