Push start as an immobilizer or not?

people go for complete kits?
whats the cost of it n what are the benefits of it other than starting car widout inserting key? i dont know if there are other features too, u can perhaps elaborate b4 some jdm fellow comes wid some sarcastic tone as always

I am not even sure if complete kit is available in Pakistan. Installing this is very very sensitive.
My uncle has a remote unlock kit in his old xli- Car can only be unlocked with remote, key doesn't work as they jammed the keyhole. One day the fuse under the steering wheel blew- They spent 2 days trying to unlock the car. LOL. Stick to normal remote stuff.

Wanna install complete kit?- Make sure you know how to fiddle with ECU.

JDM's are ONLY worth it if you get a genuine car with Original Verifiable Auction sheet. Rest is crap. Hence I stick to PKDM.

Main problem with Sushi cars- Warranty. My Swift, on the 3rd day, AC compressor grip came off- I took car straight to Suzuki 3S- They rectified problem within 2 minutes.

Imagine I got a Sushi car- Take car to mechanic- "Compressor change karna hay, khatam ho gaya hay, 3-4 ghantay baad ao, aur 10,000 kharcha hay"... Am I in a position to argue? I don't know much about cars.
At least my Swift doesn't sound like a 3cyl-tractor like some cars...Cough cough Ztiv 1.0L.

that was not a good thing to do, sometime locks dont open up wid remote,dont know why that happens,then i use key to open them,also remote cell can die anytime
cant xli door be opened wid that scale thing pressing down beside the window after taking off the rubber on door

get this push start stuff,loose ur remote n then change whole ecu system to start car lol

Driver maintains car, he owns it. And it's kept in a good condition. I would love a Prius 3rd gen, but, Imported from a trusted PW member with low mileage and genuine auction sheet. That's a car you can keep if you know the history of it. If not, PKDM all the way!

It wont go out of battery without warning and touch remote with sensor will start the car

still i dont see the fun really,even wid key its fine,dont know if factory fitted push start has some other features to make it attractive, i have steelmate 2 way remote wid push start option, unlike these jdm fellows who have to sit in car to start it,i can start it by pressing a button on remote from distance as well widout even opening car but i just use the key
now ecu designer is gonna come n try to defend his jay dee em like a saleman showing off features of products selling it

in case of smart key its a complete computerized system, just press the button then Computer kicks in the starter & release it as soon as the engine starts & there is no chance of cranking the start engine as some times ppl do with mechanical key.

Its an emergency key just to open the doors if in case the car battery goes flat
