i understand that and i really appreciate you doing all that effort, most doctors say it will fix itself so it really means alot.

my elder brother and a cousin also report this sensation, they said it was very intense at my age but reduced eventually. so i think it runs in the family

my big brother is now around 34 and he says it occurs much less often and when it does, it is bearable

but why does this article relate it to headaches, shortness of breath and salivation... i do get excessive saliva during running or if i am fasting. headaches are common and shortness of breath is also present, but i think those are due to low exercise.

i just can't understand why a skin condition is related to those

sorry if i sound like i am making up problems :D, the headaches and the skin problem are a real limitation ( disaster if it happens during an exam or presentation), i want to be optimized

I will visit a dermatologist, but i am not sure whether i should go now or in winter, because it is difficult to reproduce the symptoms in this weather.

All allergic condition run in the family. Yes it will control itself to extremely bearable extent as you age. But when it is present I understand it can be very debilitating.

You can see a dermatologist do not wait for winter. A good doctor will never wait for symptoms to be reproduced. Simple formula if a patient had chest pain and other heart attack related symptoms 12hrs back we will never wait for another heart attack to happen :P, rather we will try to investigate the patient.

Headache, excessive salivation, shortness of breath all can be present along with the major skin symptoms all in short because of (if I start to explain in detail it would be quite technical) mast cell hypersensitivity to any particular trigger and therefore IgE mediated release of excess histamine mostly.

The medications you will be given will control all your symptoms as most are related to histamine, so antiallergic and other allergy control agents will not only solve your skin problem but headaches and shortness of breath as well. But do ask the dermatologist what is wrong and see what he says then tell him what you know.

Hi, My young one of age 4.5 is having temperature since night along with runny nose. (nose is runny since many days but temp is since night). He also vomited at night so I was thinking to give him Arinac 1tsp 3 times a day.

Yes it's ok to give arinac with motilium. Is he the same one who is being nebulized, if yes then continue nebulization as well.

No other is elder one and is 8 years old and now his breathing is absolutely fine, but i keep him nebulizing as these couple of months are critical for him.

Also I wasn't able to find the cough syrup you mentioned TOUX. Nor online nor any medical store knows about it... Like Clinix, Mahmood etc.. Can you plz tell me from where I can get it as elder one has now productive cough. previously using de-tuz syp.

If you cannot find toux syrup, then best thing would be plain nebulization with normal saline(N/S) as it contains salt and salt breaks down mucus and salt also irritates the respiratory tract hence helps to clear out mucus by cough.

If you cannot find toux you can use these they contain the same coferb, coflex, kroff, cofcid, prospan. Arinac will keep fever and inflammation under control so need for antibiotics, but Do not start antibiotic without showing a doctor.

Its looking more like a viral infection. If anything would help it would be antivirals but they are too expensive. And they also help only if started within 2days of onset of symptoms. So no need for them.

Light antibiotic like amoxicillin can be used but I am thinking it is viral so it wouldn't work. If fever keeps on worsening or doesn't come under control up to 5 days then antibiotic can be started but please go to a doctor before starting it.

Don't know any doctor in lahore for that instance islamabad also. I know only doctors based in Karachi. But judging from their qualification I can only advise you, but do not worry Dr. Asim will be good. Dermatology in USA is one of the toughest field even for American nationals to get into so you can judge how hard will it be for some one foreign.

Ok sir, Currently fever is under control after giving medicine and after 6-7 hour, when medicine affect is gone, it seems coming back. I will keep an eye on him and keep giving him Arinac for couple of days more and if situation is same then will take him to a doc.

I visit the place once 30 days but manage phone contact and dispatch medication to local clinic regularly. please help, - also if you can help me with a GP who can ( against reasonable payment terms ) help me out there look after people by visiting once a week [ Thursday evening we can transport him & bring back Saturday afternoon ] the place have x-ray, ultra sound & sample collection facility with Generator. about 285 km in sindh.

we are group of few people running the facility Free of Charge under family pool of zakat.

Best food additive is isabgol ki bhusi or isabgol seeds, very cheap easily available in the market, take a table spoon of isabgol and add 1/4th cup of water then take it before every meal or at least before 2 meals. All GI specialists over the world recommend it as the best stool softener for regular use without any side effects. Tell them to avoid white atta instead use chakki ka atta, other substances that can be added in roti dough and will make it more fibrous are jaw ka atta.

If severe constipation then phillips MOM syrup can safely be used very cheap costs 20rs. per bottle, other stool softeners are present but are expensive.

Regarding GP it is difficult as most of my colleagues are busy in their residency and our seniors who have completed residency most of them are earning money so it would be extremely difficult to find one. Even our interior friends are busy in Karachi and do not like to go to rural areas, harsh but true.

I highly appreciate what you are doing for those poor people. One recommendation that if any of them falls ill and needs a better facility then take him to civil hospital and not to jinnah or abbasi, because civil has free oral medications for all admitted patients and free lab tests for both indoor and outdoor patients, and radilology MRI CT Xray all free in civil, in Jinnah and abbasi you have to get your oral medicines, lab tests, CT and MRI from outside so it costs you. Most people are unaware of this.

If you want absolutely free treatment Indus hospital korangi is the best, but bed availability is limited.

i feel more at ease transporting needy to CMH Hyderabad which remain accessible to them conveniently.

just for information since 2005 GOC Hyderabad at that time, was very kind person and he issued standing order for such civilian treatment at highly subsidised charges. Till date the order stands valid, and am personally obliged to successive GOC & CMH Commandant(s) to continue the service.

our selected volunteer girls & boys are always present at CMH HYD to manage payments.

sadly really very sadly doctors have become more greedier then a politician, - we are paying 75000 for net total 180 hours of service at the remote dispensary. Lodging food & transportation is our account. and.....................

he / she declines to see more then 50 - max 75 patients during stay [ 24 ~ 36 hours ],

Sorry guys I have to say it you cannot point out just the doctors for becoming greedy. It's the general mindset of our nation and doctors represent a part of it.
