as per my understanding, the torque converter clutch reduces the lock-up shock, if it is not working, it could also give the same jerk while shifting! no ?

anyways, i don't know about this stuff, its my first A/T transmission....

umm - no..

the converter lockup is to increase fuel economy by eliminating the inherent drive loss in a torque converter. The shift shock is reduced by reducing engine power between shifts.

and another thing saqib bhai is that what I am feeling, though it is just a feeling, is that the o/d off light is wired up properly, but the o/d function is not working due to this flash lights. It is constantly engaging the o/d at "on". you cannot restrict the car into 4 gears. It goes to overdrive no matter what you do. But when on 120 you floor the accelerator it will suddenly kick down into the fourth gear and then goes to 145 and then again engage the o/d.

I think o/d functioning not working is something to do with safemode type of thing, may not be the wiring issue, but I'm not sure.

your trans is 4 gear, the O/D is 4 - when you kickdown at highspeed it goes to 3rd gear. Whats happening here is that the trans is in limp mode hence you are not getting correct shifts. When you overspeed the gearbox - it will apply the overdrive shift in order to save itself from burning up.

Okay, will try the manual procedure first to extract the codes out of ECU

The manual gear for this engine is RS5F70A. Do not go for the Gearbox which came with PKDM version (RS5F30A). It wears out early with more torque and HP combined with shohdi driving.

@star2 I hav just gone through Diagrams/Docs shared by Mr. Saqib @spectra but unable to figure out the how the ECU is showing speed while u move the car's wheels & VSS is still isolated. As u said, the slot where u put VSS from GA 15 Txn to run the Speedo meter was originaly empty in ur car's auto tranny. So there must be some other VSS installed within the tranny which you r not able to identify.

It is on the left side, under side of the gear, above the CV boot. That is the VSS which is giving signal to the ECU and hence ECU knows what the speed is, becaue its wire is going to TCU and from TCU it is going to ECU, that is why scanner is showing speed. I put another VSS just for speedometer only.

Here have a look, it is showing 14 km/hr

secondly, it is seemingly in the engine bay wiring loom, that is why it was missed at first place, I think.

Let's see, open circuit in dropping resistor causes the line pressure to be high. I think it lowers the pump pressure to eliminate the shift shock and that is what I am experiencing at the moment.....
