actually, apparently the car wasn't roughed up dry. first shot is the leaking pipe. we got that replaced. but my understanding is that when the car was initially topped up after it ran dry, air entered the system. the air and the tiny leakage of the pipe caused the radiator to reduce water [though not fully] this must have resulted in the needle moving past the middle point but not to H.
could you confirm if the above could be true?
also, how do we bleed out air. the dealership refilled the system with plain water [they didn't have coolant]. they have no idea about burping. [i guess they do know how to burp after nihari]
