And if my circumstances become so to buy a lancer.....I will take you to check the car....bdw I had kept lancer 96 4g13 auto....i still miss her .......I bought her v cheap coz its carburetor was totally shot and mechanics attempt to rebuild it's variable venturi carb literally made a hairline crack in carb....so my friend had 2e carb lying around ...I fitted that with adapter plate and ran around 2.5 lac miles and sold it.,..but that was one solid machine but was fuel guzzler also

They are fuel guzlers but they are very relaible... There are a very few people who can fix a Venturi carburetor, usually called a Piston Wala carburetor.. i will be very happy to assist you sir.

As I mentioned it has an f16 gear box.that came with cielo.
Kindly tell what part is required to engage 5th forward gear.

The main problem is of skilled electrician.

U have to change the gear shifter kit.mostly that shots and ur gear refuses to shift.....other thing is worn synchro of 5th gear but that's less likely...gear shifter kit is hardly 1500 rs of work but synchro is a heavy deal...for mechanic electricians faqeer Hussain i10 and ramzan on peco road Lahore are good ones ..Arif on chaburji is electrician ....he also has turquoise Cielo

Any one in Lahore ,would have shifter kit?
As I visited daewoo house Lahore bilal gunj,he said there is no extra shifter required but you have to break that plastic on driver side.
But that didnt work,

Do you have personal experience of work from arif?
I have a mechanic in chinniot that can do all the work including diagnosis.
PS Korea auto is a looter, I source from rawalpindi genuine parts.

The gear shifter kit is plastic bits which hold the shifter assembly under the hood......there are set of levers which are fixed by plastic pieces...this is kit......I usually buy parts from Ahmed autos next to Korea autos.....but Korea autos has sometimes very rare stuff.....but will usually persuade u to buy cheap Chinese part....insist him to give u geniune kit and u have know how of geniune things......and about Arif....he knows about the electrical stuff....but he is chor and quotes u unnecessary repairs...so Don't fall upon him ..just say to do the work that is required

@Mirza967 Bhai will this kit will be available from Ahmad autos?
Or will have to go to Korea guy?
Plus for the winter I am going to follow your guidance that I should install a manual switch for fan .and inshallah in march will go to isb and will make the fan auto on original settings.
Plus I will try to upload a pic which I think you are mentioning as the shifter kit.
If I am not wrong it is a metal rod which has plastic parts at both of its end( which are kind of locks).

U can inquire both for this as they are side by side......this is 1 thing....it also includes many Teflon bushings to attach WID different parts of gear lever assembly

@Xulfiqar Bhai ,my racer daewoo SOHC has 5 speed gear box installed.
Do I need to replace only the the shifter small rod,that has plastic lock type pices at both ends( under the hood),and Brak this plastic button type hinderence in the gear shift lever as mentioned in the pic,
Or one need a lot of stuff.

@Mirza967 Bhai in your experience which clutch plates are best/genuine that are available for daewoo racer.
I have enquired,and valeo brand was available,what are your thoughts/experience.
Does any Japanese one would fit it in.??

Valeo is the oem brand for BMW Audi etc.....it's the best available brand.... whereas thrust bearing u can install is of nachi nippon brand....but when u open the bell housing ...make sure to check for rear main seal for leakage ..... otherwise oil will leak and make new clutch kaput and install pressure and clutch plate as a set for smoothness

Jazakallah.
Now my duty is to make sure ,that it is genuine baleno.
Ahmad autos quoted me 2400 for only clutch plate.
PLUS kindly tell.
Whole gear box has to be taken out it can be done without taking gear box out.
Any other sincere recommendations for job.

I bought for 2200 7 month back......for installing experts displace the gearbox and install it....others remove gearbox and install it. And please change thrust bearing also and check main seal also
