Mainay recently apni Alto 2006 model ka radiator service karwaya hai jo bohot chocked tha aur pani bhi leak kar raha tha.
I didn't know about the coolant so I would use tap water usually and that caused my gasket to blow up and baat head khulnay tak aagayi.
Head repair karwaya aur gasket new lagayi uske baad saaray pipes waghera bhi new lagaye radiator aur manifold waghera ke.
Mechanine ne kaha hai ke 2,3 months aram se nikal jayenge sardi wale par march ki start main radiator change krwa dena.
Now guide me what to do?

R u 100% sure that AGS battery tonic can be and should be used for dilution of coolant in radiators?

Using it since last two years in my cars cooling systems and lead acid batteries. Its excellent, try to get from authentic source. I have tested it with tds meter several times its 0-5ppm.

For this civic Honda sells Type-II blue coolant which is factory fill.

Is there any air bleeding screw in nisaan day highwaystar 2017 i am so upset with my car have shown famous mechanics all services are done but still in trouble when i switch ac cars rpm jumps to 2000 when speed reaches 40 and it doesnt drooa feom 2000 untill speed drops from 40... And that cause low mileage and bad pick but this time in karachi weather was fine about 30c it wasnt creating such problem but in my city its back to same problem because its 44c here... Is the throttle a victim of "ghusl mayyat"? and has anyone ever done a throttle position relearn on your car?

does your car have an air bleed hose or a remote tank? if not you will have to use a tight fitting funnel which you fill with coolant mix so air can displace under the weight of it.

It has air bleeding screw near raditor cap connected to engine.. thermostate valve and fan started on 96 degree is it right to be low radiator relay on... I did this DIY in July 2014.
Now its June 2022. 8 years had passed.
The coolant had been dropping in level since then but not that significantly.
I had been topping up the coolant ever since. When I left for UAE my driver had been adding coolant, sometimes water in my absence.

This is the current condition. No rust in radiator till date. (Picture date 10 March 2022).
I think I need to drain and fill with new coolant.

what an amazing thread. Kudos to @MoizIrfan for the wonderful explanation.

I will take this opportunity to ask a couple more questions. I am restoring my Khyber whose thermostat had been removed and fan was "direct". Radiator was replaced 2 years ago and water body replaced 6,7 months ago. Car has barely completed 4000kms since the engine was recently overhauled and water body changed. It has been running on tap water. Now, I want to install the thermostat and get everything in running condition (AC/heater etc.). Since you have owned a khyber previously, need your recommendation on how to proceed step by step? Would you advise to change the radiator or just flush the entire system and then change the pipes only?
