Rakaposhi trek in a Rush,and a night on the bank of naltar lake

This year, i was left with only 5 days in pocket. and what to do,
Rakaposhi peak every year show us her glimpse from KKH, heard its a small trek and this was the reason, it was always left.

Lack of days this year made us to pay our tribute to rakaposhi and so, we set off for that, towards the fairy land of rakaposhi and upper pastures of minapin where the legend of a fairy named MIROPEE was famous in ancient times.
Anyways, i know lots of trekkers have done this visit and there is nothing like explorations so, this year it was a mere picnic and will try to narrate the story more.

fortunately i got full moon night up there,,, i always wish to have AMAWAS ki raat or PURA CHAND RAAT during any camping night,, and we got one here

Day 1- reached gilgit and drove to Minapin Village. night stay at diran rest house (camped in fruit garden)
Day 2- trekked to tagagari via hapakun. (7 to 8 hours trek) night at tagafari base camp.
Day 3- trekked back to diran rest house minapin. camped at fruit garden.
Day 4- Rushed towards naltar lake for the last night childum childy camping. camped on the bank of naltar lake
Day 5. back to gilgit. and then home sweet home back in hasty noisy world via babusar top

Camping at diran rest house.

We reached straight to diran rest house and pitched our tents there. It was a classical fruit garden, having cherries of two types, apricot apple trees every where.

this tour was full of fruits and where ever we go in this excursion, we were offered cherries and apricots

and we insisted to cook our food,,, it was first night in tents after a long time and we were fresh as well...

and next morning we set off from minapin to tagafari.

i was told that we can reach tagafari within one day. so we hired one porter and give him 25kg weight. rest we carry by our own and set off.

i was told that till hapakun, it is tough, rest is a 2 hours walk. so we were mentally prepared to reserve our energies till hapakun. however, our this calculation goes a little wrong. the last two hours after hapakun were actually the tough thing. till hapakun, it is simple and easy walk with respect to hapakun to tagafari.

yes brother, i have seen that, and asif has answered completly so no need of my reply ,,,, the region is rugged. i have not been there, however, jitna janta hun uss region ko, i can say that at times we see things in different moods and they affect us differently. you might get disappointed when reach there. however, there are many many many lakes in this region with crystal clear reflections of srroundings. however, most of them are waters of melted snow.

best of luck and explore this new lake. tell us stories after coming back

Right now me n my partners are very curious to explore that region well I heard about the lake is not that beautiful but trek is worth full I'll try my best to capture many things of surroundings, someone have to describe the mystery of that place

we didnt stopped at hapakun,,,, we reached tagafari and due to some mishap, we have to miss kacheli lake,,,, it was a big miss... i think u can understand the level of our disappointment, though i never talk abt that in normal gatherings
