Rakaposhi trek in a Rush,and a night on the bank of naltar lake

after hapakun,, it was straight up... and almost 99% of the trek from hapakun to tagafari is in such an elevation. dont know our guide wanted to test us or there is no other easy way

first glimpse of rakaposhi/ minapin glacier--- downhill

and the final ascdent towards tagafari- rakaposhi base camp

and rakaposhi finally is opening up

bus iss pahar k paar hai tagafari,, rakaposhi basecamp..... ahista ahista, har qadam sey sath apna aap mazeed ayan karta hua,, laikin qadam hain keh uthaey hi nahi jatey, thakwat, aur pani ki kami tang karti hai, hawa shadeed is gorge main jo seedhi rakaposhi ki barfun ko chom kar ati hai,,,, aap ho, pholta sans hai aur har agley qadam per mazeed rakaposhi ati hai,,,,

and finally climbing up part of trek is done,,, this lone tree was magnificient. i was waiting and then sleeping till my friends reach and awake me up

it was very chilled breeze up there,,,, and amazing atmosphere,, right down is minapin glacier coming down from rakaposhi and diran massives

just get on the trek,,, baqi kaam trek khud karwa ley ga no worries.. bus, fitness ka thora bohat khayal rakho

and finally sakun ka sans,, last 500 steps were downhill in the basecamp of rakaposhi....

i loved this site,,, its amazing, naturally wind proof with amazing view of malka e hussun rakaposhi and amazing Diran peak.

and the base camp,,, entering the campsite of rakaposhi base camp. it was a good feeling ... however, i was thinking,, yaar, rakaposhi ko light ley liya,,,, it was not an easy trek to attempt with rucksack on backs within a day.

and tents pitch ho gaey,,, and khaney ki tiyari start ho rahi

and we got a chicken up there

and the pleasure of night.....

and then something happens,,,,

it was full moon at night

and it was bright at night. glowing rakaposhi and diran massives.......

remind me of a song by system of down titled "chop shoey"......"i cry when angels deserve to die..."

@asifcae.. yaar was just browsing the forum... where are all trekkers, i am seeing many many many road tours, and less trekking excursions...
