babusar region... in 2004, i had to camp ahead burawai somewhere and it took us long hours to reach besal and then next day babusar top..... it was amazing up there that time,,,, let me find if i have any pic of old babusar top.... but now.... its like sunday market

sorry yaro, i was lost in past tours when i witnessed real solitude of region....

officially, pictorial story is over, now anyone is free to ask anything regarding this rakaposhi trek and naltar region... or anything regarding northern pakistan treks,, jo kuch janta hua it would be a must for me to share...

recent prices etc rakaposhi and naltar region ki hi bata sakun ga baqi north of pak ki aggregate ya old prices bata sakun ga.

must visit there but do remember,,, no littering. no dumping.... try to clean the place as many of our brothers only want to spoil the beauty...

It is really unfortunate that commercialization has ruined the beauty of lake SUM. I visited this lake on 29th June this year , the current situation is nowhere near to the above pic, it is a sort of baron land with lot of garbage around.... I fear it will become more worst and the water will also be contaminated.... if we want to secure our nature,, some serious steps like imposing of fines on littering etc should be imposed.

i agree, if the current situation continues, people will stop going there. i have been going to Naran for 4 years continually then stopped sin 2011 and then went again last year and i was there are too many shops and too much garbage but no awareness signs for public and no way to collect the garbage thrown by people aur hamari awam ka haal to sabko pata he hai. govt and NGOs should start awareness and cleaning drives otherwise we will lost this place very soon. Also I was really really disappointed by going to Paye last year, there was so much smell of horse's stool and i felt that i have lost one of my best serene place...

aur Sahee kaha hasibsaid! keh it will be ruined, Aqeel bhai! you visited Naran in 2011 and then in Last year, but i visitied Naran in 2013 for the first time, and now in July 2017, 2013 Naran was cleaned, managed & Beautiful, but 2017 Naran was Crowdy like Muree, rude shopkeepers, nothing original & Local, so its sad, really very sad,

haha danish bhai Jo Baat Hai , well some qurries in my mind need to ask from you have been travelling so long and learn many things from your mistakes so would you guide me give me some tips regarding to trekking n hiking what precaution should i take while trekking what kind of food you prefer to eat? how you manage washroom problem n if there is anything left let me know as well

advice yehi hai,,, go through text (books and relavent information not internet) in detail before going to any region. you must be knowing geography of region, a little history and some how general behaviour of people around there.

faqeer admi hun yaar, i usually try local and fresh foods, on longer treks and expeditions, tin food is the only option. or you may prepare dry meat back in home before leaving for expedition.

every region, every trek has different level of preperation. it is almost impossible to quote everything in one go. oh yeah you can go through one of my previous threads titles expedition requirements in pakwheels...

Expedition requirements

today i was making a check list for my expedition for which inshallah i am leaving next month thought to share this list with u fellows as well. perhaps this list may help some one else or some one can give me an addition or subtraction in this list. i normally divide an expedition into three parts 1. camping equipment 2. kitchen equipment/ food 3. personal stuff Camping Equipment: Rucksacks (each member has to bring his own) Tent matresses (each member has to bring his own) sleeping bags…

list is long,, u can alter it according to nature of ur plan.
