@Abdullahnoor007 :we had dropped the visit to rama lake and went to khaplu valley and shigar valley.... and believe me it was worth seeing
i will upload pictures once i get some time from job...

BTW what was your passing out year??? i m also from faisalabad and my elder brother did his graduation and masters from NTU and now working as a lecturer there.
May be u know him... his name is nauman.

In the above picture you can see that there are two tracks. The one with stone bedding is the old track and work is being done to convert it into a metaled road. While the kacha one is the temporary track being used till the metaled road isn't complete. According to army and our driver, Astore will be connected to Deosai via metaled road through Deosai but it will take time.

Finally reached chota pani. As far as i know there was no bridge on this stream till last summer but now the bridge is complete and the jeeps dont have to cruise through the water anymore.

Reached Bara Pani with everything almost frozen. The views at Bara Pani were very nice. We spent some time here and moved back as each and every part of body was starting to freeze.

Not afraid actually. They even waved us to say Hello while we were taking pictures. But they were quite far away to be captured in pictures. I have one picture in which they passed through the bridge on a tractor.

Yes, we also believed that the old bridge should have been kept. Just as a sign of adventure if people want to cross it.

21-June Day 7
Left Hunza at 8am and got stuck at Nasirabad due to protest.
Protest ended at 11:45 and we started our journey again.

Yesterday phoned a friend in Nasirabad and inquired about this protest and he told me that protest was because of Water shortage in Nasirabad village.
