Yesterday phoned a friend in Nasirabad and inquired about this protest and he told me that protest was because of Water shortage in Nasirabad village.

Yes, thats true. The protest was due to water blockage by govt which was coming to Nasirabad from Rakaposhi. The protesters were assured by the DC that their demands will be met after which the road was opened for traffic.

Started our return Journey and the snowfall started again. This time it was much more than before. We were feeling very cold and had to close the roof of the jeep. Our condition in the jeep can be seen in the below pictures.

The return journey was very hard as it got very cold. The snowfall throughout Deosai and heavy rain as we ascended to Chilum. There was very light rainfall as we crossed Chilum. We had to stop for a tea break as we were literally freezing. You can see the condition of the members at the tea shop. It got dark as we approached Astore. We reached back Rama around 9pm. Had dinner at mess and some discussions regarding next day's plan. Dinner was same as last night with addition of Soup which was around Rs. 120 per head and was very nice and helpful in killing our cold.

Woke up next morning, packed luggage, took breakfast and started our journey to Fairy meadows around 9:15
We observed that all the peaks which were clear last day had received fresh snowfall in the night. The weather was still very cold and the sun was hiding below the thick cover of clouds. As we left Rama we were confused about what to do as it would not be possible to do the Fairy Meadows track in rain. Plan B was to go to Hunza and stay the night there and plan Fairy meadows the next morning according to the weather. The booking was already done at Fairy Meadows.

As we approached KKH, the sun got out and the sky got clear. I called Asif Saeed bhai to get some guidance and he advised me to go to Fairy Meadows. So we dropped Hunza and reached Raikot.

As we reached KKH, there were no signals and we could not take advise from any Guru. So we decided to travel on the newly built KKH patch till Bunji I guess. We called Asif bhai and got our plan finalized. Then called Qari Rehmet for re-confirmation of our stay.

The road was unbelievable and we touched a speed of more than 100 km/h after 2 whole days.

True There wasn't any bridge prior to that.

Jeeps had to make use of 4x4. It had it's own charm
