Enjoyed the wonderful road for a few minutes and had to get back to our aukat. Roadless patch some 7-8km before Raikot Bridge welcomed us and guided us all the way till Raikot Bridge. The shangrila hotel at Raikot Bridge is functional now and is normally used by tourists who reach Raikot Bridge late in the evening or are too tired to proceed further. Otherwise i dont find any reason to stay at this barren area.
We all were feeling heavy and wanted to get light before starting the jeep track. We entered the hotel, asked the way to the washroom and were stunned to read the door of the washroom as it said "Rs. 50 per person" Never seen such an expensive washroom. But the pressure was building and atleast I didnt have any other option. The receptionist told us that he will charge Rs. 400/day if we want to park our car in the garage. Otherwise no one would take any responsibility for any bad incident. As a goodwill gesture, he offered us free washroom facilities if we park our car for three days. The offer was so nice that we immediately paid him 1200 for three nights and used the washroom. He kept the keys and handed over a receipt which he told was very important and must be shown to take the car when we are back.
