Umm, there is no such thing as self sealing with rust.

Yeah, all of those on the head and on the intake manifold

Apparently one of those on the head. What else could be the problem. All other joints are clear/dry. And that milky froth is just on the cap, nowhere else

do a pressure test to see the leak, you will have to remove the tappet cover to see the plug leaking.

also, do these leak sealants work? Those in liquid form and require you to pour the solution in the cooling system. found this:

Also, yesterday, after mehmood fixed the carburettor, went straight to Umair Quick cool so he could setup the idle up switch. On my way, I switched on the AC and after blowing cool air for a few secs, it stopped.

The guy setup idle up in a few mins. But when we switched on air con, the compressor won't work. He diagnosed that the trinary pressure switch had gone bad. He asked if I want to bypass but I refused. He then leaked the gas, tested another switch (worked fine) but when connected it, it blew off immediately and compressor again won't turn on. He then recommended to change the base of that switch. Spent around 6k (1.5k for the switch, 1.5k for the base, and 3k for gas), and about 4 hours .
But anyways, ran the car for about 12 kms on AC and it was smooth.

Funny thing is that in all my time in Pk, I used to overhaul carburettors myself, the only handful of times I needed help was if the zeolite bushing of the carburettor throttle valves (butterfly cutti howi hai) and that too less than 10 times out of more than 1000.

The usual cutti howi butterfly bullcrap was the clearance left by the manufacturer to accomodate thermal expansion. The actual problem every single time was a carburettor jammed with dirt from a bad air filter which clogged all emulsion passages causing rich running. I later got a bench lathe and made the bushings from old phosphor bronze valve guides myself.

and more than half the time the carb was perfect, the problem was an engine running too cold or with bad timing/tune and other issues like bad valve clearances.

Carb tuning is done as the last measure in a tune-up you first have to make sure everything else is top notch, including the hot idle compensator etc.

In case I am unable to find anyone with a pressure testing kit, what's the way around pls?

in my case too, after he showed some attitude, i spoke to him about my Father in Law who owns a 74 corolla and has been coming to his workshop since more than 40-45 years. I showed him my FiL's picture and then he calmed down a little.

I have done same in my margalla. I replaced rear ones with refurbished ones then after 3 months they were gone. Now i will replace all four with new agri auto shocks.

Freeze plug..is it same welch plugs?

It is written on bottle that it will treat leaks in gasket.. radiator..freeze plugs.........

i think Xulfiqar referred to this product when he said "liquid death". Probably not recommended. And yes, freeze plugs are the same as welch plugs.

We probably need to find a workshop with pressure testing kit. It is costing 24k on daraz.

Make pressure testing kit yourself, Simplest way is to put a pipe to the port from where pipe is going to expansion tank. (Remove the pipe going to Expansion tank)

Attach pressure gauge, and start applying pressure using pressure washer. And done...

Yes, also make sure you use old Radiator cap (With bad spring seal)
