@brownrose78 a separate tachometer is a better idea or an old model swift meter cluster with an inbuilt tachometer? cost wise both are same. Separate tachometer ranges from 2k-4k. the meter cluster is 10k but my current one can be sold for 6k or so.

I will vote for separate one, Because mostly new is better, Make sure you buy one for 3 cyl not 4 cly.

I have noticed that after carb service by mehmood, car has lost some power. I.e it now takes forever to reach 100kmph, which I previously was able to touch within 15-20 secs.
What could be the reason? Jet change?

cool. so i pulled the choke, started the car, and left it as it is for like 5-6 mins (cold start). Initially, there were a lot of vibrations (rough idle) but as temperature needle rose a bit (vibrations got normal - stable rpms). Is this okayish or the initial rough idle is taken as misfires?

No no, It is normal. You can tight the choke cable so it is more effective (High Rpm and low vibrations) , But make sure to tight it if the is any space available. We don't want the choke to be engaged even when we have pressed it back

How can I check this ? I asked carb service guy and he said yes both the throttles are working perfectly fine.

Just to mention, loss of power is right from the beginning (first gear). The pick has decreased too. (Khyber's pick was crazy).

Ok so I realised later that there were no spacers. Instead, large sized cng springs are installed.

Kabuli original rear springs are for 3k. New BDL ones are for 6.5k. Which ones shoild I go for?

Just checked Kashmir automobile at Plaza.
BDL Chinese Shocks (rear) pair is for 6k, springs pair for 5k.

Are BDL Shocks worth? Agri ones are for 5400.

I don't recall any such thing. The car hasn't been touched by my mechanic since carb service. Only the other carb guy serviced it again after the dust particles issue.
Also, I feel that jerk type issue yet again. Just as I press the accelerator slightly more than half (on idle), there is a sudden jerk or you can say a sudden fire. Happened while accelerating in 1st gear as well, half way past a sudden jerk and the car accelerates suddenly

yep. they are all connected. The only change i made yesterday was that i put a rubber seal between the carburetor and air filter; and the sides of air filter box. This was to properly seal the air flow

Properly?

Remove it and check it. Could be caused due bad air fuel ratio after adding seal to stop air leaking.
