bosssssss. That's an entirely different debate in Pak. i got my khyber for 2.75lakhs in 2008. It was worth the same until last year. PKR deval, econmy etc etc etc etc....

Yes you can, it has a slightly different setup/tune though.

And one can redo an old carby back to spec, too bad that you guys are unable to find mechanics for this job.

Smelled fuel/petrol in the cabin for a few seconds when I had pressed the throttle to the max and was driving at 100kmph at 5th gear. Sign of an exhaust leak? The smell vanished after a few seconds. AC was on.

Also, is the carb supposed to be damp/covered with petrol from the outside too?

dont understand why would it be covered with petrol from the outside. Is the float leaking? I touched and confirmed that it was petrol.

Your carburettor float is incorrect or the lid is leaking or both,

And also fix that throttle cable, the rubber bushing will hang the throttle, stick it to the edge of the threaded post, and what the hell mecahnic grounded something to the carburettor?

Looks like the vacuum solenoid is grounded there, Please dont hire this level of stupidity for work. You had the whole wiring out of the car, it wouldve been a 5 minute job to properly branch that and tape/loom it up.

No no no, nothing is grounded there. Its just an illusion of a curved wire.

If its the float, Guess then I have identified one of the causes of low mileage.

Oh there, right. This is the AC electrician guy's work. Compressor/Vacuum solenoid wasnt connected when electrician worked so the AC guy did this. Will be going to the electrician to get the headlights/fan rpm adjustment and will get this sorted too.

Is this where it should be? This is very loose though. Wasn't fitting anywhere.

The green circle is where it goes, you seem to have a wrong cable assembly there, its fully threaded in yet the cable is floppy. Check from cabin side and if its intact and fit solid, next time you are near mahmood carby, go around the corner near kheer house and get this cable shorterned by 1/2 or 3/4 inch

That way it will fit perfect, the cable guys there make fantastic quality cables, even far better than what suzuki originally supplied this car with.

fun update: In setting up my khyber, my 70cc bike has gone through so much "raghra" that it's engine is now almost seized.

I think "Almost" Seize is referring towards "Near towards Failure".

I mean I could hear all sorts of noises from the engine. All power lost. Oil leaking. Towed it back home a couple of days ago. (talking about my motorcycle, lol., not Khyber )

Man , Aakhir my cd -70 hi ragharti , where i painted my car , they were putting sewerage lines there , in the end of the project , it was time for Project CD-70.

Alright so now that I am free again.

Took to check the air filter and other seals first.

Removed the top cover of air filter and started the car on cold start. It started on half self and didn't even shiver as such. Guess the car is running rich again.
