Reborn Master Brake Cylinder replacement and ABS inactive

I have recently purchased a Reborn 2006. Manual transmission and I had been facing issue with the spongy brake pedal. Several mechanics confirmed a replacement and only a kabli replacement is available.

After Installating the kabli master cylinder the brake pedal is hard and then gradually becomes spongy when I keep pressing the brake pedal and it goes down lower and lower on every press

Also the other issue is ABS is not working now and there is no fault at the ECU. ABS was working earlier still with the old Master cylinder.

Now it's just Non ABS brake and locks the front wheels..

Please advice/suggest what should be done.

I have the old cylinder with me and I have changed the 3 rubber rings of Size 3/4 kit. I want to install the old cylinder back..

How were the brakes bled after master cylinder replacement? Seems like there is air in the system. If the brake pedal is still sinking and goes all the way to the floor, check if there are any external brake fluid leaks and sort them. If no leaks are found, either the replaced master cylinder is faulty or the ABS module itself has become faulty (stuck open valve, dumping fluid in the internal spring loaded reservoir).
To isolate, remove the two brake lines from master cylinder and block the master cylinder ports (get cut line ends that come with used master cylinder and weld shut the ends). Once blocked, press the brake pedal, it should be rock hard with nearly no travel. If this is successful, probably its the ABS module, if it still sinks, its the Master cylinder.

Regarding putting back the old Master cylinder, first check if the cylinder bore is not damaged, in which case, putting new washers wont help. New honda genuine master cylinder is available at reputed shops.

His problem started with mechanics not bleeding the master cylinder, then got worse as that air migrated towards the abs block.

Yes seems like it or rusty brake fluid pushed back from caliper. Anyways, for bleeding ABS, I hit brakes hard few times in open ground for actuation and then bleed from wheels once more. How effective is this method? Any otherway to bleed ABS without scantool?

Your method works if everything is already airtight and you are just flushing the old fluid for newS

This OP probably has an issue with air in the master cylinder, which is impossible to remove with brakes assembled.

Guys I have had brake bleed several times, tried hard breaking several times to engage the ABS.. but it's not good at all.

Mostly mechanics only bleed the front calipers. Thou I got the rear callipers bleed as well. I will get the master cylinder testing with blocking the ports first. So we can rule out this first.

Then the ABS, it's costing 6k for this unit in Chah Sultan. Bismillah Brake guys.

The cylinder bore isn't damaged on the old master cylinder. And if the issue is with the ABS then this old Cylinder may not be the issue. I was wondering why isn't there any warning light on for the (ABS) if it's faulty.

Update for the day.

The kabli master cylinder Installed was faulty. Replaced with another kabli one and there we go. The brake is back to original pedal and distance.

Now the second part. The ABS is still not engaging..
Tried several hard brakes.. no ABS light on in the cluster

Yes Sir. The wheel are locking up like a non ABS would lock wheels up.

I replaced a Kabli master cylinder of Honda Nissin and this is working way better then the old ones. No leaks. No pedal spongy.

Get the ABS module scanned for DTCs. ABS bleeding sequence maybe required via scan tool.
Btw, never cheap out on brake parts and get new genuine/good quality aftermarket parts only whenever available. Used junk parts may work in certain repairs but safety critical areas, such as brakes, should never be dealt like that.
