^yeah i agree. honestly i was one of those guys who was really into "chrome" before but after taking a ride in romanos car i decided ot mechnically fit my car first and then work on the looks,... the result is right here infront of you all. the cop used to have a beetle as well and he spend quite a bit of time checking out all the improvments i had made ot my car. what i liked was that after doing his job (issuiing me the ticket) he spent a good 5 minutes checking out the engine, suspension etc and he then went on to tell me that after seeing my car he was thinking about buying another beetle as he had great memories of when he used to ride in his dads VW as well.
seems these cars are great at taking people back to happier days.
still i shoudln't have been speeding and i really need to take the time out this weekend and fit the speedometer cable (it's a real pain in the 1303)
