I have seen beetles with similar setups having Charade Diesel 1.0 and Corolla 2E 1.3L engines.

I think they give out around 150bhp. And if its from the Impreza then must be 2.0l, right?

finall the 66 deluxe is built and delivered so now i can start focussing on my 1303. i personally pushed it to the work bay, it has been waiting for around 1 year to start work on.

I just checked and it is costing me 35000 just for the denting on this car using 18 guage metal for new stamped floors etc. paint will cost 210000 etc...

time for me to rob a bank!

i'll be modfying the original engine till i blow it up! LOL!

i'll be fittin a turbo, 117 main jet, 90 air jet and a 34PICT 3 Carb, more info once i get my hands on the KKK turbo and intercooler setup.

Looks like i'll not be having a rear decklid on y 1303 (no problem since it is stictly to drive arond and take back home)

put in a porche engine and rebuild suspension with eibach parts..

flat 6's don't fit un the engine bay without some cutting of the bodywork (i've already measured it).

Guys i'm a happy camper today, I picked up a rear lid cover (metal not fibreglass) and an oil bypass kit for my 1303, the guy had both pieces lying around his shop (for his own beetle but he sold it now) so all i can do is sit with a HUGE smile on my face

yeah i loved the trip today,.. i was so happy finding the parts i wanted. Plus the work is progressing fast on my car now, but it'll be slow soon since they have to remove the body for this rebuild (getting new floors stamped)

BTW i found out the original colour of my car was "marinablau",.. and all this time i thogh that it was red!

I guess i'll be doing it in Lambo Diablo 6.0L orange since my last car was marinablau (the 66)

yeah the lambo color is an extremely gud option. wud look nice on the car. so u r planning to keep it stock and original from the exterior? or some modifications
