"We have both qualities genuine oem as well as chinese controls. We only activate the multimedia controls. Price for chinese button with installation is 6500 and oem buttons with installation is 8500"

Yes the page is right. Seems they have increased the prices. Same buttons can be fitted to Honda city as well since both the cars (City, 8th gen) practically have the same steering wheel.

Also, regarding Audio quality, I was in the same dilemma. But the Android Unit I got from JDM Experts (costed me 30K back then) had same (if not slightly better) audio quality than TW unit. More than TW unit, its the Reborn's stock speakers (assuming you are using stock speakers) which are actually pretty good compared to other local cars.

11 months later, the LCD started malfunctioning which they replaced with a new one and only charged labour (took 2-3 days). Working perfectly since then. I'll post its pictures in the morning along with audio controls.

However, you should also explore the shop "Journey2Music" on FB as well. They too do these things and I have recieved good feed back regarding them as well. They have a shop in DHA too.

I have exactly the same sentiments and opinion on 8th vs 8th vs 10th gen.

One thing you forgot to mention though, and that is, Reborn probably has the best exhaust tip out of the three.

As for acceleration, in my experience, there is only one scenario where a traditional torque convertor auto can beat a CVT (which doesn't have manual tip tronic +/- capability). And that is on a roll on from let's say 80 km/h, where Civic X would be at <2000 rpms and the Prosmatec in "2" with rpms hovering around 5K. The moment you got WOT on both, CVT will lag behind.

Put this theory to the test in a friendly 80-130 on motorway a couple of months ago with a friend's Grande running in D.

Having said that, internationally the direction auto industry is going towards, CVTs are here to stay and we are perhaps in the last era of enjoying those downshifts in automatic economy/family cars.

To be perfectly honest even the China wala unit I got has if not better atleast not worse audio quality than oem unit.

I am not a booffer or amp sort of guy, for me the oem units or equal quality do the job just right with normal audio levels which I listen to, no issues at all.

One more thing I noticed, despite the lower outputs and capacity of oem speakers they are pretty decent and last well compared to fake replicas and all other mid range speakers available in the market.

Yeah, same here. After all, TW is also chinese manufactured I believe. I have neither changed or tampered with the stock speakers or wirings on any of the cars nor felt that the car is badly missing an Amp or a sub-woofer.

Not worth the risk and time IMO and sticking as close to OEM as possible is the safest practice especially for our locally manufactured cars.

Yes TW units are also supplied to them by some Chinese company

Audio buttons around 1.5 years ago.

Oem unit has an opening strip at the top for card and silver knobs while almost all non oem units have gray knobs

No special camera, just iPhone 8. Rather reduced the image sizes later for a smaller file. Its not exactly high res pictures.

Well, i disagree. I have tried that putting my Civic X In L and believe me at 80kms response was way better then convential autos
