So what's been happening is the car stops leaking from one point and instead starts leaking from another, the mechanic changed the main seal yesterday of the engine but is started leaking from somewhere else, this time he himself also suggested that this might be due to the car's engine giving up, was at work earlier when i posted and that car wasn't leaking until this morning, went down to check on it and sure enough there was oil underneath it once again.

Laser iridiums have longer service life. That being said, I wouldnt use spark plugs for 70 to 80k kms and replace them at 40k kms. These spark plugs cannot be cleaned like the copper ones and I would like optimum spark for ignition.
Now for the issue of oil leaks:
First thing: replace your PCV valve. Usage of low quality oil and extended oil changes, i.e. 7 to 10k kms on local oils cause sludge build up. This also blocks out PCV valve which causes pressure inside the engine and pushes the oil out. It also kills oil detergents and increases acidity of oil. Hence the seals become brittle and leak again and again.
Make sure you are using genuine seals. Taiwan/Chinese chooran etc seals will NEVER seal and oil will leak. Also proper installation of seals is required. Here, the mechanics have no idea regarding it. It needs clean surface. and for cleaning it, no metal scraper, screwdriver can be used as it gouges the surface. NO RTV/Silicone sealant is to be used (except valve cover, where only small dabs are used at timing cover mating area). The seals must be in correct orientation and the hands of worker need to be clean aswell. Proper torquing of bolts is required.
If you are unable to get these steps done, you have a bad mechanic (and they have this generic excuse of engine being shot - when their pathetic craftsmanship fails)
Personally, Im tired of these mechanics as none of them seem to have the knowledge. I have just DIY resealed civic 2005 engine with genuine seals and no leaks so far. This one was deemed as shot by these roadside retard mechanics aswell.

I am with him at the moment and just asked him about the PCV Valve, to which he stated he's changed it and didn't state it on the bill as its a cheap component and he's changed it without mentioning it as he changed the cam cap as well which was needed as the car was spraying oil from there.

This time I have stated that I will get the required seals myself as he did state that he got Chinese seals before to save me on my cost but he is stating that upon my go ahead he could get the original seals himself now that I've stated that, that's what I require.

Ummmmm pcv valve isnt exactly cheap that he didnt mention it. Genuine new pcv valve costs around 2.5k to 4.5k (i have bought it multiple times and got different price everytime).
P.S. Be sure to procure genuine seals yourself. There are fake ones available aswell. Use a trusted seller or get it from any honda 1s dealer (Honda sugoi should be there). Make sure they are in genuine honda packaging.
The amount he tried to save with chinese seals instead costed u the job twice and wasted money.

Also get few bottles of brake cleaner spray. Clean the parts amd mating surfaces with it before installation.
You can apply silicone grease on the seals to improve their life. (Not to be confused with Silicone sealant/RTV).

That explains why he was so keen on selling the fact that he saved the cost for me lol, I shall talk to the guy whom I contacted for the spark plugs and see if he has the PCV valve available as well. As he was referred to as someone who is trust worthy in terms of genuine parts. Meanwhile, is there any way to know who the official dealer is or where they are?

That makes sense with the Chinese seals messing me over, is there any other specific thing that it could be broken down to that could cause the leakage again? Just so that I can keep that in mind as well.

Also, got it, brake cleaner spray, I think I've seen the silicone grease before but either way, would this be easily available to purchase as well?

What is your location. There must be a honda 1s dealer there. As for the seals, here are all the seals of engine:
1- Front crank seal
2- Rear crank main seal
3- Valve cover seal
4- Vtec gasket
5- Oil pan
6- Oil filter O ring
7- Oil drain nut crush washer
Silicone grease should be available at industrial supplies store. I know the places in Karachi but dont think will be of any use to you.
Do inspect pcv valve rubber hose. It looses rigidity with time and collapses. Causes pressure in the chamber.

I am in Rawalpindi near the old Airport, and I work in G10 Islamabad. This mechanic is near saddar so these are all completely opposite poles for me.

Once again, knowing about the seals helps a lot, he changed the axel seal before? Would it be for the gear oil leakage? Cause the gear oil is no longer dripping after that. He didn't change any seals of the engine the first time around. Except for the Vtec Gasket.

Also, off topic but I just had the experience of driving a 9th Gen yesterday of my senior who wanted me to take it to run a few errands for him, a few things I noticed is how lifeless? (Idk if that's the right word for it) the steering felt. Was soft no doubt but to an extent where I wasn't comfortable, and it took a lot of pressure on the gas pedal in order for it to barely give any response and start to accelerate. Not only that the pedal felt absolutely stiff. I usually start off the drive in D3 and keep it on that in city, only switch to D once it hits 50 or above. I tend to shift down to D3 as i'm slowing down to under 40 (if there's anything wrong with that habit please do let me know as this advice was given to me by the very first mechanic as well) but I noticed where I usually park my car, its a slight incline and my car doesn't need the pedal pressed down and climbs the incline on its own, however this car (the Rebirth) needed me to press down quite a bit on the pedal and even in gear it kept goin back down which my car hasn't done? What's up with this. I was really uncomfortable in driving this car even though I have driven the Civic X as well, but this was a very awkward experience for me.

Search youtube for 'Raja Ahmed Mujtaba', he recently got his Reborn's engine swapped by his mechanic which he recommends in Rawalpindi. You can also see the mechanics workshop in his videos while he got the car fixed up.

Got in touch with him and this really helped! JazakAllah. I watched his video. On the contrarty to what I was told the engine would cost me 150k... He bought it for 60k which is less than half of what I was told..

I'll coordinate with him and if he recommends it I shall take her to his mechanic. As of today I was told the the adjuster of my car is in bad shape as well, as it makes a weird sound when accelerating but only once during the day when it's starting off cold. I do leave it started for 5/10 minutes in the morning before driving off.

The car is meant to be closed up today. I'd asked the mechanic to pause any further work till the weekend and he just pulled this out and says it needs to be replaced whilst the car is still opened up

There's a few other that he had brought but is asking me to get genuine if I can find them and so I'll try to contact the references above for them.

Brought a axel seal from them for 450 rupees but upon installing that the oil started dripping as if there was a tap open. Finally they went ahead and replaced the "adjuster" and with that and the original seal that I bought, the drips and drops have finally stopped.

However, one thing leads to another and now the "D" light keeps flashing even if i'm on parking or on any other gear. And the car makes a weird sound sometime whilst driving like Screeching near the front right tyre. Not exactly screeching of the belt but like kirchh, kirrch sounds for a good few seconds before it stops

Was away busy with stuff, sorry for late reply. Thats torque convertor, not some adjuster. Why the hell was it replaced and was the oil topped up with correct honda atf? Seriously this mechanic seems screwing up things on purpose.
The main seal has a big gouge, I hope that he didnt scratch up the sealing surfaces. Please check honda dealer in your area for genuine parts.

The torque convertor replacement did solve the issue for now.. and even with me there to witness it throughout the weekend I did notice that he wasn't bluffing when he said that the axle seal kept leaking regardless, I brought him the seal from Waqar Autos which was packed in Honda's original packing and he stated that it's made in Japan, I went to him because I was guided he only deals in OEM parts and it costed me 450 Rupees for it, however when the mechanic installed it, the oil started leaking as soon as he poured it in.

To which he asked one of his workers to get this Torque Convertor or as he called it and even stated to me as the "adjuster" lol but yeah, replacing that fixed the problem along with the seal that i'd brought and its been running smooth for 3 days now Alhamdulillah. There is a weird sound that's bothering me behind the right tyre that feels like something i rubbing against it as I make a hard turn towards the right side. I had it checked, which he first thought might be a piece of the fender shield that was hanging off but fixing it in place still hasn't resolved it.
