Probably yes, or at least the effect will wear out. If I were you, I'd do the engine flush, and then put in the new oil with Ceratec. Why should you take the risk?

That's a good question. And honestly, I don't know today. I can try and find out for you. I know that they don't recommend synthetic oils and friction modifiers in rotaries. So, on first thought I would say no. But I'll try and ask LM Germany directly for your query.

bhaijaan i never had a golden alto! i had a silver alto jiss ka engine i had totally modified! and jis ko baychee aus neh car total kardee cudnt handle the car because i had changed everything in it from ignition coil to carb jets,headers,down piping etc etc...
yaar auto car aba ki hai heheh experiment of ceratec mein aba ki corolla mein kar raha hoon after its a success il pour it in my 96 civic!

Ceratec is somewhat a new research product with its micro ceramic based coating (less than 0.5um) that can last in more extreme and tough situations upto 200 C. Though it does more or less the same as like Motor Protect usually But is just better than it.
If you are very price conscious, you can use Motor Protect too. But I will always prefer CeraTec over a 500 rupees difference (for 50K Kms)

Try the 10w-40 semi synthetic with MoS2, heard great things about it. Its also Liqui Moly.

CeraTec procedure is very simple, you can either add it to your existing oil, or flush your old oil, and add ceratec with the new oil. You'll love it, guaranteed.

So I am using Shell oil currently in Khyber. Since liqui moly has caused a big stir on PW, I'd also like to use Liqui Moly if only anyone advise me properly?

So far you all are talking like the researchers and scientists who invented Liqui Moly. So please, one simple question.

How can I be happy and satisfied like you on my Khyber? What should I get from Liqui Moly on my next oil change?

Get your engine flushed first with the LM Engine Flush. Choose LM 10w40 MoS2 Semi Synthetic oil, then feel the difference.
If you are price conscious you can also go for LM Formula Super and top it up with MoS2 oil additive pack.
I will advise you to use CeraTec over the next oil change so that you can experience the difference of each product separately.

Since you are moving from Shell Oils you will feel much more better results showing better idling, smoother engine running, more calmer engine, better response. You will feel that your engine is happy

You can also choose Fuel System Treatment for adding up in your petrol tank which can take care of your cumbustion chamber, fuel lines and tank giving you a better throttle response.

After flushing can i use Semi Syn in my FX?

Guys need some advise... got a cl7 and been using Mobil1 5w 50, since the last 2 years... change the oil after every 5000 km...that is after every 3 months. Oil filter is of Hamp.

Now all the hype about LM, has gotten me thinking on the following points for which i require ur expert advise.

1. keep using mobil1 and try the cera tech and other products from LM. (Should Start with which LM product)
2. Change mobil1 to LM (if yes then which LM Oil)
3. Do fuel additives really work or just waste of money. (As per 5thGear most of the fuel enhancer products reduce the engine output then increase it, and only very slight increase, non to existent where aplicable.
