So last week I went to Peshawar.
Traveled through N-55 national highway although the road condition was HORRIBLE
Reached pesh, everything was working fine (i.e. AC) & I parked the car.
Next morning, got into the car, turned AC on & literally NO cooling although it was perfect till last night.
Opened up the hood to check if the compressor is running, it was running. Upon inspection from the glass on the dryer bottle, came to know that gas is leaked.
Khair I carried on my scheduled work.
In the evening, went to the same AC guy who did the AC job at the time of engine swap 2 years back in 2018.
He was surprised to know that AC didn't went bad in these 2 years as per him old cars tend to create AC problems almost every summer season. Then he confessed that if the owner is careful, nothing goes bad.
He pressurized the system to check for leaks & here is this bad boy condenser got leaked due to getting a hit or continuous rubbing by the radiator.
I think this AC leak also happened due to my ignorance as one of the condenser bolt was broken since the very start & wasn't holding it on place & I didn't paid attention to correct it.
Khair Dair aya, durust aya ...
I got the broken condenser bolt removed by heating it up with welding torch & locking pliers.
We decided to replace the condenser with clean one as it was on my to-do list, bcz I was running the company fitted R12 condenser on r134 gas.
Went to shoba bazar for parts hunt, got a clean oem r134a condenser from the JDM nose cut.
AC guy suggested me to use the same dryer filter bottle that came with kabuli condenser, I forbid it & asked him to install new one.
