As is the case with most restorations .... work on the car is a bit stuck up these days for various reasons. May be I'll need a few days off from work to push things along.

I did not intend to post more pics untill some more progress had been made wrt to electrical n mechanical work but ....... here are a few to keep u interested

i think it's going to look great,.. but i think heat will be a major issue. my 68 speedster was black and i felt as if i was driving a convection oven

I just noticed that my thread has not been that wordy....pictures have been doing the talking mostly...

Good going Naveed... glossy black surely looks sexy on a beetle but the dusty envirenment.......maintaining her splendour would be too demanding

many peopel say this but i think that as long as you polish her once a week and take good care of her she'll be fine. and since this is a "hobby car" i think she'll get plenty of attention.
