I have quite a few of them sitting in a jar in my house, I think I paid USD 8/- for about 60 fuses, 20 each of 8, 16 and 25 A. I know they are even more cheaper when bought by the gross.The NOS items are garbage btw, they corrode and make a general PITA out of themselves.

you have 2 optionsbuy a genuine VW unit from nmshaikh if he has one OR - make your own one that uses spade fuses, - here you have more than 1 option too, buy a fuse block for a tractor or buy individual fuse holders that are keyed together so become an array.original VW one would be the nicest way and still have the original look, the spade one would be a custom job requiring some skills to make it neat and clean, it can easily become to look like a cobweb.

The picture of the fuse box @reezvaan has posted, would that work? I'd rather stick to the OEM one.

Well, I didn't get the foot boards I told Dr. Asad to get them for me. No, I got them made on order they're brand new.

Updates: 9/7/2012The footboards, bumper brackets, the fuel tank, the trunk area, the inner trunk area have all been painted.The windows were jammed, so the regulators have been taken out. Will send them for fixing tomorrow.Work is in full swing

• Inner dashboard grab handle
• Radio face plate
• Dashboard grills
• All fender beadings
• Front hood base channel gasket
• Decklid base channel gasket
• Rear license plate light housing w/light (OEM Hella complete) and gasket
• Door handles (both w/gaskets)
• Front windscreen
• Glove box lock

The front windscreen, it's lightly scratched. It'll work like a charm till I get all new windows. The rubber was fine, didn't need replacement.

The OEM Hella license plate light complete with a new gasket and a new bulb, part number SAE-L70.

Aftermarket hood seal? Couldn't you get stock one from @nmshaikh or you didn't know he carried a LOT of those?

B/w is that a wave that I see towards the door in the fender beading? I hope its just the fitting of the beading and the wave isn't anything abt the bad fender fitting on the front quarter panel. Bad fitting/waves can be cleared out by merely loosening the nearby bolt and readjusting the beading b/w the fender and the body but if its a bad body job, then....its just a BAD body job!

Yes, it's an after-market channel gasket. I couldn't find the stock ones, searched a lot.

The fender wasn't tightened. Thanks for pointing it out, will look into. I hope it's just the beading and not a bad body job.

The fuel tank which was previously cleaned now has been painted, it's ready to be fitted.

@reezvaan, do the running boards need to be bolted into the front fenders or should they just be bolted into their respective places underneath the doors?

Door handles, fitted with their gaskets. They are clean, but I think a good chrome cleaner would get rid of the light blackness.

One bolt each on each fender (both at front and rear - 13mm spec) along with four bolts under the doors on each side, all 10mm spec.

So, one goes into the front fender's backside and one goes into the rear fenders front side?

Got the exact same sized bolts, nuts and washers today
