These panels are a rare find...only if you can get hold of them from ebay used ones...
I think with a little patience we can make them..
Ok.....Lets start with passenger side glove box....First of all dismantled it....lolzzz...It was already dismantled.:D..I mean the repair we did on it..separated all pieces...
Traced the exact shape on the chart paper.....yes we are making "farmas" again.... leaving some margin to join them together in "my way"(H) which you will see in coming pics...some interesting stuff..
Shape of outer side wall in chart paper but a little larger as you can notice...
More patterns cut in chart paper like base, inner wall etc....but a little larger..
Bought some sheets of hard board for the interior of both cars...this is "semi water proof" made in thai land ...as they say...For doors and inner cards...a little thin but for these glove boxed...about 4mm thick...notice one sheet thicker than others...(towards sofa back)...yes that is the one for glove boxes...
Hold on....not so quickly...Actually the space where they fit is quite cramped...original ones were made with very thin materials so flexible and one can bend them to fit in place....But the ones we wanted to make were "rock solid":D.and not at all bendable...so exact shape and size was required...due to this reason,we decided to make them in "GATTA"...first.After asking from a lot of places,we were told that the one we were looking for can only be found in shoe market.......OH SPITFIRE KAHAN KAHAN NAHIN PHIRAYA.....so went to the shoe market and bought "gatta" from there...,I also saw rubbers of different thickness there which are used for shoes ....bought few as well...as you can see...

Salamz Brothers...lets start again....this "Gatta" was quite hard...So Raees trying to make it straight...
Collected a lot of small nuts and bolts in different sizes (flat head) to be used in various places...Split rivets as well..
Now tracing the same patterns on this gatta...
Cut all the piece in that "Gatta"
