I think we were having some conversation about the construction of both glove boxes (driver n passenger side)...I have taken these few pics for your kind viewing as an attempt to justify that the method/material I used in the construction of boxes was the best according to my little knowledge...:D..
Here they are....
Both glove boxes with the original one (driver side) passenger side original glove box is history now......

view from lower side...
As you can see that the original one has a fold in the lower side,to have a slight bend for fitting ....but we used rock solid material impossible to bend,So I used this hinge to bend it to desired angle for fitting which will not be visible......

Back side view....If you notice,you can see that it has some complex/odd joints and angles...but we tried to duplicate it using the same bends...straight head screws and split rivets are used all around......base is fixed with the back for some extra support to prevent from sagging afterwards (remote possibility)..these protruding bolts will be cut by grinder...

I did some modification and added roof to it for some extra strength and looks...(H)..lolzzz....(no one is going to see the roof ever)...futile exercise.....

Salamz brothers....
We have done a lot of work.....QUITE A LOT....I will try to update this thread regularly now till completion....Target is to join VCCCP gang coming from Karachi on 8th or 9th November..(Lahore to Islamabad).INSHALLAH...
And we continue.....
We were making all inner cards...boot first...we were doing fuel tank cover.....
A closer view of the spacers we fitted at 7 points to fix fuel tank cover neatly....

Raees Applying "Epoxy" not depoxy to fit threaded spacers at the existing fixing points...
