I think Honda is the only company which is loyal towards its customers in recommending oil. They are using loal brand in their packing everyone know. They have 3.7 ltr packing so we can buy one bottle. Suzuki is also using local oil but in 4 lts packing but cultus use 3.5lts. Toyota has 4 and 1 lts bottles but corolla use 4.2 liters. In bikes when honda genuine oil bottle was not introduced, honda recommend Havoline. and make deal with caltex to pack havoline in 0.7 liter pack also with five star 0.7 bottle. atleast honda has packed product in right quatity instead of changing bottle packing only.

Well technically its good to have the oil exactly that we need.
But IMHO there can be further two reasons for not buying the same packing as required in actual.

No. 1
If my car needs 3.7L Oil and I buy the 3.7L bottle. But what if after driving 1~2K, the oil level drop a bit which in many cases is consider normal. So how to do the top up?

No. 2
If I buy only 3.7L bottle oil of 5/30 SJ, SL or similar grade oil as per company recommendation, but I want to use "fully synthetic" (out of 3S), then I can go for Total Quartz 9000 which is 4L bottle, but has latest specs like SN Grade & ILSAC GF-5. And change interval is also bigger than what I will buy in SJ or SL grade?
So, in the similar sense I may have lot of options to choose any good company rather than what OEM is recommending. And will save half liter or so which can be used as top up later.

I have never check my car oil level before joining PW. after joing this forum, and going through different post recently i check oil level of my cars and bike. all were gud although i have changed them couple of days back. Only once oil level of my 125 drops, so i switched from havoline to Zic hiflow for 125 but situation get worse, oil was nt touching dip stick when i check after 500km

i also thought of this but now my 125 is more than 60k driven so changing oil is not feasible i think

SIM3 is 20/50 SM Grade and Semi Synthetic.
Best oil for motor bikes for CI as 1K.
Its available in 1L packing for sure.

Sir I have a 1990 125 last Japanese ones with square lights and CDi which came before local production of 125 started in Shershah Gulbai factory.

oh you have the CKD sort of CG125 - its a sort of half and half situation of where its built. Its like how SNK was building the KH series kawasaki bikes.

The real japanese ones were till 1985. round gauges, round lights etc. They were imported as half knocked down assemblies in crates. Nice machines - they had a hitachi ignition system and more finished engine casings and exhaust.

Increased sound, improper pick with little heavier 'feeling'. Garri mein woh 'khanak' he nahi thee. Plus 2 or three days ago I found a stain of some white creamy stuff on the oil stick and it was really there when I checked repeatedly. Although some people call it normal but I only saw it with this total oil so.......!

Dear members AoA,I ve got lancer 2008 , recently changed CVT oil, Mitsubishi ATF Dia Queen SP III, 8.1 lits got it 2000 Rs/lit from dealers.Car is in immaculate condition giving excellent milage and smooth drive. After change of transmission fluid I ve noticed that shifting of gear from P to D and R is at times jerky and normally swift and smooth. Is it ok or some thing to worry about.Oil was change on mileage.

diaqueen spIII is not for CVT. Its a variant of Dexron III-H ATF.

What you need is CVT fluid, you can use toyota CVT in it.

Dear, Zulfiqar bro it is as per the manual and recommendations of the Mits company Wksp in Isd. It has been clearly specified in user manual as CVT oil and using any other fluids will void company warranty. Kindly explain how to check CVT function.

Its quite simple.
Never feed 5w oil to alto. Keep the min. viscosity as 10w. Now you have following options

Kixx G1, 10/40 Semi Synthetic. CI 5K
PTT 10/40, semi synthetic. CI 5K

Or if you want to cool down the unnecessary noise of engine, then use

SIM3 20/50. CI 5K.
PTT 20/50. CI 3.5K.

These are heavy oils and do good for noisy engines.
Now the summer already started, and as you mentioned in your previous message that many sounds comes from engine, then alongwith the engine oil, use 10% "oil treatment". Its just Rs. 240/440ml tin pack bottle. But only mix it 10%. It will make the engine cool as ice.

Mitsubishi Diaqueen J1 is CVTF, Diaqueen SPIII is ATF. Check the invoices again.
