Today i have changed my settings a lil bit. Lpf for sub has been brought down to 63hz and same for comps at HPF. The response has improved alot. Still i am struggling with the staging part

sir staging without a processor or time alignment is not possible. u can only get upto a mark and then require a processor... dont know if ur player has TA or not...

Sir I wont cut the components at 63hz HPF, specially with a -12db slope. I dont see any point crossing over the midwoofer below its fs.

Sir i am using x over from Hu and Amp as well. From Hu it is 63hz and from amp it is 70hz. So what slope it could be now

-12db slope is from HU, I was checking the SS ref guide and it cuts out a -18db octave.

12 dB slope will drop 12 dB per octave
18 dB slope will drop 18 dB per octave

From 20 Hz to 40 Hz is one octave. 40 to 80 Hz is another octave. 80 to 160 is another and so on... So basically upwards you double and downwards you cut in half.

So what would be the slope like if i cut my speakers at say 70 Hz because of Fs which is 68.1 Hz.

While using cross overs from HU and the amp same time what will be the slope in this case.

Use the crossover/HPF on your HU and yes set it at 140hz or max 120Hz. Likewise put the Lpf on your sub @ 140 or 120 Hz whichever sounds better BUT do invert the phase of the sub from either the HU or simply swap the +ve and -ve wires coming from the amp to the sub.

Theoretically you can but the thing is the combined slope would be like -30db/oct, and that would introduce strange phase changes. If your amp had -24db/oct slopes, then I would have suggested to use the amp's crossover, but here using the HU's crossover will give you better control over phase change and resulting in better blending of midbass and subwoofer with bass upfront feeling.
