Hey guys,

This is my first post in the site.

Thumper to the core, i am a proud owner of a 2008 Royal Enfield Machismo 500 LB. While the stock bike comes in a 24.2 bhp mill, i have made some mods like a bigger (31 mm) carb, free flowing exhaust and a K&N hi performance air filter, after which the effective power has increased to around 30 bhp.

This means that i can cruise at 120 kmph with enough power left to overtake.

Work keeps me busy all year round but whenever i can, i do dash off for trips. Chk out the following links from my blog:

Waisay I want to add one more thing k this bike is based in England , India kay paas sirf is ki frenchise hay samajh lain. Yeh harlay Davidson kay muqablay main bnai gai the.
Ab India main iska naam bullet electra hay aur yeh still India ki sab say achi aur reliable bike hay.

Bade bhai ... u r very far from the truth... Royal Enfield (UK) and Enfield India were 2 different entities ...

The UK company folded in 1973 after it's last model, The Interceptor, failed.

From it's inception in 1955, Enfield India, at Chennai made bikes with "Enfield India" monograms / badges on the tank (As opposed to "Royal Enfield" written on Brit made bikes)

In 1995, Enfield India bought out the rights to the "Royal" enfield name...

So the truth is that Enfield India now owns the "Royal Enfield" trademark, not the other way round ...

I am surprised at the conviction with which people give incorrect information ...

Hyin..:o YEZDI bhi Pakistan mein milte they?
as far as I know, YEZDI the 2 stroker known for it's noise is a Indo-czeck(oslovak) collaboration only sold in India.

^^ yes buddy in tribal areas n license is required so there are few yezdi and jawa bikes ,,,along these ,, heard of someone having a diesel enfield but not seen myself,,

these were seen some 10 years ago,,now due to military intrusion all are confiscated forcefully by military and used by them,,,so sad,,

Royal Enfield is doing very well these days and still enjoys 6-8 months "waiting list".

it is based on Bajaj-Kawasaki Eliminator(190cc?), a old model launched during 2000-2001.
however Enfields are more lovable.

Yamaha Enticer is another "cruiser" bike which was launched back in 2003 or so with a puny 125cc engine.

dig but i see 2 to 3 Triumphs on a shop every day Kohat regestred but never seen any running they are parked at a workshop one looks good in shape but other is rusted but conformed they are Triumphs also a baba jee used to have a triumph near my place but now there is no babajee and triumph seen
and i have even see a Bajaj super scotor little different then a vespa it roams around very often
bullet looks like a cruiser and considering millage people even left vespas and bought Chondas 70cc no kawasaki even can be seen now a days pity
so if enfield launches a 70cc bike with classic design it might survive in PK market
