The rest of the day was spent at a very dear and respected relative's place enjoying food, Qahwa and gup shup. We returned very late to our place of stay.

Day Twelve: 31st December 2009 - Lahore.

As expected day started late and we rushed to a very dear friend's place where we were invited for lunch.

We had a nice lunch at our friend's place. Thank you very much brother for your hospitality. It was a pleasure meeting your family members-- especially your caring mother. May Allah give her long life with health and strength.

We went to another relative's place for high tea. Spent enjoyable time there. The kids were very happy as there was a newborn angel in that home.

Almost sunset. The last one of 2009 as observed in Lahore.

We then went to a dear friend's place where a wonderful BBQ was organised. Thank you very much for your hospitality and we enjoyed a lot.

Unlike Karachi, there was no aerial firing in this part of Lahore to celebrate new year's night.

This portion belongs to the Tiger

Now where is the Tiger sahib? The Tiger sahib is resting. The small little white thing is White Tiger sahib and another Tiger sahib was also near him but the camera could not capture it.

We requested Tiger sahib to reduce distance for a photo session -- but no lift from his side.

We plead that we have paid to see you and you should come nearer-- but he kept acting like a sarkaari officer in our country.

Thousands of beautiful birds of different species inhabit in this shade / cage and provided a natural environment.

The time for entering this cage / shade ends at 1600 hours and we reached there around 16:20, hence were not allowed.

We walked with the fence and watched beautiful birds, but unable to do justice white photographing. Can't express the beauty in words.
