hope u r fine and perfect, if u r using havoline (motor oil) grade 20w-50w ,plz change it around 2000km or when its start decreasing then need to change it.
one thing more plz let me know the silencer position also . If u rubs your finger inside the silencer of ur car and your finger gets oily or greasy then get ready and prepare ur self mindly that ur car engine needs to me overhaul.

Yes i switched to Havoline 20w50 and keeping an eye on the oil levels. The silencer does not show any signs of oil or grease. Its dry and some times it just throw water. There is just black carbon.

very good.Keep an eye on oil levels and do not drive it more than 2000km.
If there is no sign of grease and oil in the silencer than u should be happy, when black carbon sticks to your finger after putting it in silencer, than wash the black carbon with water rub it and if its get clear by washing with water than your car engine is not bad and if your finger remains greasy after washing with water you r in trouble get ready ur self for overhaulling or change of your car engine..

Just checked the black carbon washed of easily with no sign of any grease. Didn't check the oil levels as was in a hurry will do it in morning tomorrow.

Aoa. I have santro exec 2004(122000kms chal chuki hay). My car runs fine on smooth roads and touches 100km/h easilly, but whenever the road get bumpy, the car starts missing and jerking and frequently turns off(halkay say b khaday walay roads per gari jhatky marti hay or band hna start hojati hy). I have also changed its fuel pump, current coils and got the injectors serviced. The car is only driven on petrol. (aksar petrol ki b aati hay gari me say). Thanks in advance.

furqan bhai i think u santro car need wiring to be overhaul fully .The current that the coils are producing not getting properly to all the sensors of your car ,For more information u can contact me

ghufran haq bhai plz let me know that u r driving ur car on petrol or cng.
Anyway check ur spark plugs of your car , get it changed plz after 20000 km.
plug wires cables and engine coils need to be checked
There must be problem in thesethree issues

I am driving on CNG, well it seems to be fixed now. Went to the mechanic and he re-tuned it. I have been driving after with AC on all the time. Will let you know if the issue comes up again. One more thing about my car engine oil decreasing issue, I checked the oil level and the dip stick showed a slight below the F dot, after 2000 km. Is this reduction normal? I used Calex Havoline 20w50.

ghufran haq bhai , it is a very normal decrease in your car .Please start changing ur car oil right at 2000km, dont drive it further more than this,your car stops decreasing oil more than this level , its been better option than go for overhualling or change of engine of your car.

My santro temperature gauge is fluctuating. What is the problem? Maybe bad thermostat.. And what is the cost of santro thermostat in Karachi?

I have a santro club 08 single hand driven and 50k kms driven but it is giving some problems
1.When i accelerate the car the rpm remain high for 3 to 4 seconds then slowly come to normal specially when ac is on.
2.knocking sound from engine when i accelerate it in 2nd and 3rd gear.
3. Large engine sound at high speed (120km/h) and low fuel efficiency. 14 to 15 km/liter on motorways now but earlier it was giving 18 to 20 km/liter
Kindly help to find the accurate solution of above problems.

I have the same acceleration problem, don't know but one mechanic told me its a factory fault of Santro. I also experienced engine knocking but its gone now after the new high RON petrol. i usually refill from a company owned PSO pumps.

Your car fan is auto or direct.plz check.
Possible cause fan switch faulty.
Termostate switch faulty.
Meter temperature gauge faulty.

But in my opinion there is some problem in the wiring of termostate gauje.
Plz concern with good electrition.

When fluctuating it is more good if u plz send me a clip on whatsup to me

1)clean the Rpm sensor properly and then fix it.
Plz check that sensor valve is knocking properly.
2)knocking is due to bad quality of fuel .plz put some high octane in it and ur issue is resolve inshaAllah.
3)checked all engine and suspension bolts the noise will be cleared InshaAllah.
4)fuel efficiency will be again set as previous inshaAllah when Rpm issue is resolved.

May talk to me directly if any issue still stands there.
