Why doesn't Pakwheels organise a Protest then?

if half of Islamabad and Rawalpindi can gather for a Partys gathering (like when Musharraf did his speech in ISB)

if the Pakistani public can do that then why can't they do the same when it comes to Car industry?

So my suggestion is to Hold a Protest Rally on the Local made cars of Pakistan!

Well we change our car and buy belta or corolla japan. in oct. because abhi parents went on umrah. and i m also going to get a spark for me. waise yeh poster protest k liye hai and sir ap kisi se bhi pooch lo, honda is far far better then toyota and suzuki. And IDSI ki quality new city se bht behtar hai. kabhi chala k dekhna toyota se bht bht bhtar hai honda.

awrite...so lets get some facts straight here. first of all, i dont own a "suzuki or toyota (local)" as u put it. i m a proud owner of a 2003 platz, and i love it like ma own child. secondly, we have an Idsi city, a 2007 gli, a santro and a 2005 lancer at our home. and the answer is NO, city is by no way better than a corolla. and u asked have i driven them , so yes, i have driven like for thousands of miles. the problem in local corolla is the brakes and the driving position. rest, its a fair enuf car with excellent reliability, however, no match to the JDM cars. my only point is that u r crying so much and asking ppl not to get local cars, but u have no rite to ask so being owner of a local crap urself then. hope i get ma point across. and honda is NO way far far better than toyota in pakistan. and u say ivtec city is not better than an idsi one, lolz....u sure are funny. so now i can ask u, have u driven the new city ??? i have, and i can easily say that its far better than ur idsi . so please be realistic, and act before u advise

i m sorry if u get it in the wrong sense. secondly, i m not saying that i have many cars. they are of ma family. all i wanted to tell was that i have driven all of the cars, and city is no way better than any other crap made in pakistan. and yeah, u r rite, as all have the rite to say what they want, so have i. holding a rally, making a protest...these are practical things. just typing on net , owning one of those cars urself gonna take u nowhere sir

Are we getting any where? I guess not. Quality of local cars will not get better unless govt will regulate the Q.C but sadly i don't see it in near future. At the end buyers get screwed(n)

alot of parts are still being brought and assembled here in pakistan. not each and everything is being made here. so obvisouly tht increases the cost of the car.

everyone has their own view points. but to me , ppl who get imported cars like vitz 2000 model for 6 lakhs and think they made the right decision are the biggest fools. yes i agree that imported cars are much better built then local cars but our local cars are not at all expensive if u compare the rates against the imported used cars. and tht not at all means tht local cars are crap. THey make it crap so tht each and everyone of us can afford and buy the car.

just like china products. they make it cheap so tht we ppl can buy it. and then we complain its not durable and it sucks..... well try paying double for the same china product then u will come to know wat quality is all about!.
