Self destruct mobile phones

hi guys

i was thinking why does mobiles have sel destruct mode in them... for anti theft.. or any software that enables the processor chip to burnt itself in case of sim change... or literally explode whilst killing the snatcher or pick pockets......it was activated by the real owner and can disable it by ownself.. mobile snatching or pocket picking in pakistan is at peak right now... why cant mobile companies develop such techniques...

three times on busy streets on gun point... but could not do anything.... mode should be as soon as the sim changed it prompts u for password if not entered either the processor chip should spark out n fade or the mobile go BOOM..... with the culprit split open...

xalman reyaz... my frnd mobiles r affordable... if u put in these self distruct and so much security stuff.... then hey my frnd ..... then e.g Nokia N73 which costs around 17-18,000rs it would cost around 1,70,000rs..... would be happy and afford it????

its just the thought motto some security for mobiles i dont trust the CPLC as u can reactivate the mobiles again or by flushing them.... i ve heard only nokia cannot be reactivated but who knows i think network operators can do anything if they can.... mobile snatching in london was reduced by 60 to 70 percent with help of mobile network they disable it and can not be reactivated in europe again but guess what ....... u can reactivate in Pakistan

Can't do that because maybe its you who enters the wrong passcode, then what? you go boom or you yourself burn the chip of your mobile. There is always risk of malfunction too, If any kid starts playing with your mobile (which kids love to do) then they go boom etc etc.

So if all this is applied it will be more trouble for us then help.

Poor DAWN NEWS Reporter, Tariq Malik lost his life while trying to be a hero when two guys tried to snatch his cell fone. they shot him and he died. In Z-Block DHA Lahore. Most of you must have heard about it.

My solution to this problem:
There should be a special code written on the box, other than IMEI which you should be able to send to PTA and get the mobile blocked, that way stolen phones will become useless. I know that some of this is being done through IMEI but they need to advertise and inform people and they should make the process easier

Waste of money if the phone blows up... and its homicide (murder) if you KILL the person who stole it, even though he's in the wrong (human rights, make no sense half the time).
