have tstat. fan is auto. all vaccum pods nd pipes connected on carb. new engine. new plugs plug wires. wheel alligned nd balanced. neat and clean tank. superb working fuel pump. no starting issue. no black smoke.water throwing engine means mixture is good.what else should be maintained for btr feel economy

If everything is fine then your problem may lie in carburetor, get it serviced by some professional.

@hassantahir2, I want to add thermostat valve in my Khyber, but what I am worried about is that I don't know weather the close loop system working or not when valve is close.

To be more clear, when valve is close then coolent have to flow through heater core and return to engine near water pump inlet pipe. In this way it by pass the radiator and engine gets to its optimum temperature quickly.

So I don't know weather the close loop working or cloged. If it cloged then engine will overheat because this will stop coolent to flow in close loop mode.

Its based on what I observe when looking under the hood. Correct me if I am wrong.

I couldn't get your point completely.
But i guess so you are worried about the water flowing from the heater core.
If heater core is blocked in your car you can bypass the pipes and connect the pipe from the thermostat valve housing to the water pump inlet pipe directly. It should not cause any trouble.

Disconnect both pipes of heather core. take a water hose pipe and insert on inlet of heater core. if water is coming from other side smoothly than its ok. also check for leakage inside cabin. It will clear the doubts.

Don't you think when i bypass heater cores it will disturb close loop system, because what i am thinking is heater cores is doing a small radiator job in the system...

What mechanics use to say, "bhai itni puraani gari main thermostate nahi lagao masla kare ga." same dialogue for auto fan switch...

Well mechanic's logic.
Heater core is there just to provide hot air inside the cabin. I think so it doesn't work's like a radiator in my car the heater core was blocked by some genius AC mechanic. And was bypassed but thermostat was working perfectly. No effect on any thing.

If the cooling system is in good condition and radiator fan has good speed then there shouldn't be any problem in using that.
My Khyber has 2 lac and i guess 40 thousand + kms on odo and it's engine is still sealed never opened. It has thermostat valve and auto fan switch both present and working. It never got heated up in all these year's in any condition. Though now i can feel loss in compression upon this mileage.
Just The key is to use good quality coolant.

I am getting 14+ kmpl in city driving without AC. But my car has never seen CNG in it's life.

There are lot of owners getting good milage, but you need to maintain and care a lot.

Khyber is one of the best car in terms of fuel average. But when we install CNG it will start create problems, because power to weight ratio becomes abnormal. And its engines never design for that CNG thing.

But we atleast can get upto 11 - 12 km/l. So I am trying whatever I can.

I am getting over 15kmpl on CNG but now a days a CNG is not available doing miserable 5 6 7 or maximum 8kmpl on petrol after spending a big sum on carburetor, engine tuning.... But Exactly this pathetic average of 7, 8 kmpl

All possible measures
Engine tuning, tappet adjustment
Carburetor, butterfly fixture, alignment, jets changed...
No mechanic advised to replace carburetor with a Mehran carburetor
Waiting for CNG or planning to sell of the car

Which jet size you are using?
Is thermostat valve present?
Is radiator fan on auto?
Is plugs and plug wires are good?
Overall ignition system must be good.

There are so many other factors...

Avoid Hyundai Xteer It Seizedup My Corolla Engine

Dear Friends I recently had a bad experience with hyundai xteer engine oil which i want to convey to other mates in order to save their cars. I put hyundai xteer in my corolla 2009 one month ago and now my engine is seizedup i went to the workshop again but they are denying this fact even one of the hyundai employees disconnected my call after hearing this complaint. DONT BE FOOL TO USE SUCH PRODUCTS!

Then your problem only lie in carburetor.

I am yet to see anyone talking about ignition timing here.!

Usually ignition timing is advanced to get better performance on CNG while it badly effects the performance and consumption at petrol if not reverted back for petrol usage.

For petrol get it adjusted at 10-12 degree BTDC at 950 RPM.
For CNG get it adjusted at 18-20 degree BTDC at 950 RPM.
but not with hit and trial method. Adjust it properly with timing gun.

Ignition timing readjusted for petrol.... I believe carbs having injector installed for better CNG milage and pickup can't make better at petrol.... Although ventury is better if wanna use both

Well i don't have much knowledge about CNG.
Correct me if i am wrong are you having a drilled carb for CNG input. If yes in that case i guess secondary throttle gets disabled.
