Excuse me? both in parallel? meaning that when you switch the headlights on or the radiator fan kicks on your rpms shoot to 1500?

the electric load vacuum plunger only raises about 300 rpm at max, infact when correctly setup it only keeps the idle speed normal. The A/C one has a larger stroke and opens the throttle more because the compressor brake is huge compared to the alternator brake.

Finally my khyber is back with its engine overhauled completely.
Total cost= 35000 including engine,complete gearbox assembly,all new foundations and labour=rs: 3500. Almost each and everything in engine is new except for the crank shaft which was fixed by lath machine guy.
Now looking for the original gear lever of the khyber and I am unable to find it:'(

the previous one was rs 50 one which is available in all shops. it doesn't look good and breaks very often

hey ya'all...havin some problem with my car on cng
car runs fine on high RPMs but jerks massively on low rpms... ive tried carb cleaner,no avail. ive driven whole week on petrol,and it got really heavy on pocket.so when i converted back to cng,same jerks..ive tried by advancing the timing ,with timing advancing,jerk got slightly less but still are there..on high rpms,car goes with smoothness... any suggestions?
ive cleaned distt cap from inside, cleaned the plug wires ends, cleaned the ignition coil end,(where the electrical connector is connected) still no good results.... waiting for some suggestions... cant keep driving on petrol..

on petrol,it runs fine but the mileage on cng is much better than petrol so i need to get it running on both fuels if i could! need suggestions ASAP..thanks in advance

asa ALL, Need your Suggestions !

My car is in a serious trouble so am I
I went to Lahore last weekend via motorway on my Khyber. One of the switch controlling the radiator fan was burned, the Fan was on AUTO. Burning of the switch stopped the fan and it over heated the car. I came to know when I saw some steam coming out of the hood. When I opened the bonut, i found water all over, boiling water in the coolant bottle, opened the raditor cap and there was no water in it...I replaced the burned switched and made the fan auto.
Since all this happened, I started hearing a knocking sound from my engine ? I could not under stand what happened. May be the engine overheated and it damaged something in the engine.
Consulted the mechanic, he told me the sound is of moved crank(this is what he told me). I had no idea what he is saying. He told me not to drive the car and fix it immediately. Please help me what to do. My engine was already a bit weak, giving blow in the air assembly unit. Can Someone seriously help what exactly is the problem.

PS:
When I accelrate the knocking goes away. When its idle after running some distance then the sound can be easily heard.

Have you checked the plug wires? Check with other wire set first to confirm.

I once faced such big jerks and wires were the culprit. I didn't checked it on petrol at that time.

Also check ignition coil. In cars like baleno, liana, etc., missing occurs on cng only...

plug wires are like an year old ..or maybe less.. ignition coil is im usin alto's one,dry one..khyber had that round cell like,i dont have it anymore..but car starts in mornings perfectly..its just missing on low rpms..if spark plugs were culprit,wouldnt they also cause such problem on petrol,which is not the case. cant buy new ones unless i am sure these are dead..the wires i am usin are normal ultima orange colored ones..ill have to find some friend who can lend me plug wires for some time so i can check if plug wires are causing jerks or not!

To me, your issue look more like air fuel mixture problem.

try blocking intake and check whether it solves the problem.

Also make sure the intake manifold is not taking air from some where like vaccum pipes, ports, brake booster, carburetor, loose air cleaner etc

Hey everyone!
Need some help.
Whenever I depress the clutch of my car, there is a feel of friction in the clutch pedal. (As if the clutch wire is not lubricated)
Now as per my knowledge, the wire is okay because when I turn off the engine and depress the clutch then the pedal smoothly goes all the way down and comes back up.
The wire was changed last year with the best one available in the market.
I've checked the clutch cable and it is not touching the mats or the floor insulation/ carpet.
Also I would like to mention here that this friction feel increases if the clutch is pressed with engine at high RPM.
I tested it with the AC switched on and with the accelerator pedal pressed and the friction was directly proportional with the increase in the engine RPM.
Also the shifting is not that smooth.
What could be the possible reason for this issue?

Also I would like to know how to check and determine the condition of the brake lining?
How do I know that it needs replacement?
Its been 12 years and my car is running with the same brake lining.
Had an accident due to the improper bleeding of brakes and after getting the car re-done I spent a complete day in getting the brakes done according to my liking.
Now today the same thing happened with me, the car spinned at around 60 degrees to the right side.
Since the speed was around 40km/h so I was able to control the car in time.
The main issue I encountering is that the car skids and spins towards the right side on hard braking.
Allignment is okay, wheel balancing is done every month, tyres are 28k driven and have a decent amount of rubber left in them.
Any idea guys?
