Day 7
09-11-07
Well Today Its Time To Start With Wire Joining Section....!
Well As I Told Earlier.....It Requires Some Strong Joints In Loom So It Won't Get Loose Or Broke When Loom Is Being Pushed Or With Time It Gets Weak....
So The Method I Find On Toyota Technical Assistance Of Joining Wires Is Soldering Wire Along With Heat Shrink Shield Later.....!
Mostly Ppl here Just Make Joing By Twisting Wires And Taping Them.....! Its Not The Way As It Looks Completely Useless to Me...!
There Are like Almost 55-60 Wires Going From Engine To ECU and Also Other Wires Going To Dash....As 1 Connection Needs 3 Joints...So Almost I Have To Do Almost 200 Perfect Solders Along With heat Shrink.....!
200 Solders..Believe Me..Its Not A Joke..Sounds Very Boring Hard But It Worth The Effort In Last......!
Here Is How I Start
My Tool Bag I Created For This Job..
Looks Like Doctor Bag

The Setup I Am Making...Guess What Location Is That

This Is How Wires Are Being Joined..In Straight Direction..! The Correct Way Of Doing A Prefect Joint...!

Another Wire Joined...!

Solder Is Applied On Joint Till Its All Become Like One Piece..!! Solder Wire And Solder Tip Plays Imp Part In This..!

After Making Sure The Joint Is All Solid..Its Time To Insulate It...Heat Shrink...It Works Like Magic (y)

I Cut Many Pieces Once Because Its Loooong Way To Go..

This Is How It Works..Simple Press And Done..You Can See Inch Readings...It Can Cut 1" Lenth At A Time..I Set Mine on 20mm....Perfect For My Work..

This Is How It Starts To Look After Some Working Hours..

Colorful...Isn't It
