Should i buy toyota vitz 2011 model 3rd gen i drive almost 100 km daily i am really confused have read alot about its probs but dont know why i love it, have previously owned a corrolla 2011 it was a fun car but i need an auto (budget 13 laks) i dont have experince with driving vitz the only time i drove it was like a 3 or 4 km

Lol how can u say that vitz is underpowered and passo is not although both are equipped with same engine 1KR with CVT
Go for vitz u will love it drive is very good but u should go for driven car

Jahan takk problems ki baat hai, koi b car ho, local / used JDM, Brand new / used, car mein koi b problem kisi b waqt aa sakti hai, but a lot depends on build quality / quality control and its regular maintenance.

Bro jub aap Corolla sey Vitz p shift hoon gey, aapko kabhi b wo baat, maza aur feeling aye gee hi nai jo Corolla mein hai. Both are different classes of vehicles and a class apart in their own classes.

Jahan takk purchase ki baat hai, buy a well maintained Vitz after getting it inspected by pakwheels car inspection service.

Jahan takk parts / problems ki baat hai, almost all of the Vitz parts are available in markets and mechanics are also well versed with it, so, i think, Vitz will not be a problem. I.A.

Major problems engine, transmission and suspension related hi hotay hain, aur tub hi aatay hain jub kisi ney car ko severely abuse / misuse kia ho.

I have vitz 3rd generation spider shape and i drive almost 60 kms on daily basis.. its awesome hatchback.. comfrt drive seats suspension and consumption wise its very gud..

U cant expected 1800cc power from a 1000cc car its more than enough for city driving u might have got a bad car if want to check come at my place a friend of mine has original 60k km driven vitz 2009 untouched it runs flawlessly we just do CAT cleaning once

You are right. Definitely, 1000cc engine aapko 1800cc, or may be even 1300cc wala to maza nai dey sakta. But Yes, its good enough for city driving.

I bought Passo last year in October. Car is not bad and is free from any / all issues and faults. I bought it after inspection from pakwheels carsure team and upon their recommendation.

Gari winters mein bilkul sai rai hai, however in summers, may be due to full AC and 5w-40 (which I repent), I think kuj zyada hi under powered perform kar rai hai.

Next time when I will go for maintenance I.A., I will switch back to 5w-30, or may be even 5w-20 or 0w-20, along with change of all filters, throttle body and Cat Converter Service, and cleaning of plugs.

Hopefully, the situation will become much better. I.A.

Just get the CAT converter if it exist n u will feel the difference chocked CAT make the car underpower as the exhaust will not flow freely
This can damage ur car valve due to back compression

Yes. You are right. 1000 cc current models share the same 1KR-FE engine.
