Yaar insanely HIGH price tag or different design does not mean that car has problems.
- HIGH price tag is due to their (Honda's) management decision and only time will tell it was RIGHT/WRONG.
- Different DESIGN is their designers responsibilities and liking vary from person to person. Beauty lies in the eyes of the behold.
These things dont qualify as problems. Problems are like breaks are BAD etc. etc.
By reading your top starter phrase "im surprised the guy bought it after all the problems with it " made me think that there is something wrong with this car.
Regarding HIGH price, I must say two things...
* There are many billionaires in Pakistan and probably its targetted to them. It does narrow their target market as it kicks me out of it 
BUT its their decision and only they can change it.
* In some other post I had mentioned, I visited showroom and saw Corolla X, it was 18000km ran, with no warranty, not whether was accidental, USED/second hand, no spare parts availability guarantee and it was being sold at 13lac. People are still buying it like hot cakes. I know its japanese assembled (as if made from HEAVEN for us). Now when people are buying a used car with no warranty for 13lac what is the signal, WE as public are giving to the HONDA management....? THINK... THINK... and I am sure you will get answer why they have placed such a high price tag.
We have been telling importers/local-manufacturers that whether your product worth that price-tag or NOT we will still buy it if we like it (becz we have no self-control, no unity, no buyers welfare body) EVEN for that we will have to take bank-loan and repay for years to come. Honda GUYs have placed this price tag after viewing the market trend and believe me if I was in the Honda management I would have done the same.

Yaar I am amazed to read that you think XLI is rightly priced. Man you are paying them 850k and what are you getting...? engine, body, seats, A/C..... I think it is also an over-priced car.

Tell me one car from 350k mehran to 13+lac civic which is not OVER priced. Compare with international market price/features and tell me than. Thanks in advance.
