AOA Dear pakwheelers !

I want to install Steelmate car security system 888G in my Vitz 2005.

I need help in finding out the response and feedback of users of this particular system .

Some of the features are

bro i have defence ka 2200 (with fitting) wala security system installed in my car...i has now been 3 and a half years and there is no problem what so ever...sirf eak baar remote k battery change ki hai...
uss mai anti hijack system bhi hai jis se aap remote se chalti gari band kar saktay hain...aur usski accha khaasi range hai...yeh jo additional features walay system hain...kaam aapko yeh bhi wohi dain gai...

Hi Saqib1,

     I am using this same system, Its good as you are monitring your car from your remote, Signal strenth is also displayed on remote. It's range in indoor shops is appx 300 meter's only but at open places i have tested for 1000 meter's. While installation you sould add wires and moter for trunk and 2nd passenger seat lock connection as normaly all security system wont work for passenger side lock & Trunck you have to ask specially to installer for this. i am a satisfied user of Steel Mate

What other worthy precation shud i bear in mind while installing the system. Shud i install extra sensers to cover more car surface area under surveilance ? In which car u using the system?

The system is easily available at Mintgumri road with another like model 888M having bigger LCD and Rs.1000 costlier.

Hey hi.. New to the forum here so hello everyone, got the same system install on my 08 Civic , its been about 4,5 months now I am pretty happy with it although the range like Ocean mentioned isn't the boxed advertised of 3000m it is better than the rest of the lot out there, 1000m approx is pretty decent too. Comes with a car charger for the alarm Transmitter which runs for about 1.5 month and then needs a recharge. The main difference if you would put it in a nut shell is that as compared to other alarms systems that have quite a lesser range you will be alerted if someone messes with your car even if you cant actually hear the sounds of your car alarm going off through the vibration on the transmitter. Like a mini pager so to speak with indication as in someones banging your car or trying to start it etc.

once i remberd i had accidently droped remote in tea on highway i got tensed car would nt start suddnley anthore person whom i didnt knew he was also there get his car refuled told me remove fusses and car will start and thus car stared
