Appreciated, i m thinking of reducing it to 3" so would you be able to advise its cons apart from aesthetics? I understand that door handle may hit the wall but this can be averted.
I have 3-4" at my place, you will have magnetic or plastic door stopper behind door so handle won't hit the wall. minimum 3".
English Cables (Original one, marketed as Hi Tech English Cable i think), you can as a minimum go for it. Newage cables are good too, get an quotation for that as well.
It can be avoided, As told by @mani43. Just deploy an door stopper.
Excellent, thankyou bhai.
Thankyou for your time, that concludes my question.
Thanks. Tajamal sb which doors should I get? There are Malaysian ply ones than semi solid with lasani and kyle.
Already covered in much detail in above threads. Kindly go through.
Please put some light on good brands of SMD and COB lights. And also the switch boards. Aqua vs TJ?
please advise regarding water proofing chemicals / pore sealers / crystalline cements
which company is good and what is available in the market.
i need to fill in cracks with polyurethane injections, and then make my roof water tight
Google isothane Pakistan
@shakeel9045
correction: for doors it better to have min. 6" space from the back wall
3" for door stopper , and 3" for door wooden border. If you have only 3", the door will open at the right angle (at 90 degrees) and door handle can obstruct the person/items that are passing through the door
Alright thanks, I took that into consideration already.
Salaam, I have seen split airconditioners in other markets where water+refrigerant copper tube can be pulled from side of the ac instead of the back but I am unsure about pakistan. I do not want to make a hole in the same wall as the ac but rather in the adjacent wall. I am yet to stroll the market for this. Please see attachment for better understanding of my query (refrigerant+water tube in red), ac to be fixed in Wall A but the hole for refrigerant/water tube needed in Wall B. Does anyone have experience with this? What issues did you face with such scenario or even after such installation?
a better solution is to install 2" pvc pipe to take copper pipe to the top roof. no more outdoors on the shades and will be easy to clean/repair, and very quite indoorfor drain, install 1/2" pvc to take it to washroom/sidewalk drain, all undergroud
Assalm u alaikum.my garage size for two cars (one big and small) is 14width ×16L in house plan. The architect says it is enough for two cars.can any one tell is this garage size is ok or not?should i carry on or not
Yes i already planned for 3" pipe but outdoor unit on roof wont be efficient as this is a 3 storey house, But i want to know if its possible to have the hole in an adjacent wall rather than same wall as the ac, I havent seen this type of arrangement in pakistan. Do you know if local aircon manufacturers provide the tube placement sideways too?
For cars you plan to use currently or may intend to use sometime later in life I would suggest you find dimensions of the cars and add 3ft on all sides for each car, this will ensure you can open all doors, use trunk comfortably & also have a look under the bonnet if need be. You can get dimensions from the web for vehicles you dont own currently so you can plan your garage better. My garage space for 1 car is 16ft wide x 20ft long.
Yes, it's no big deal. Any of the pipes can be routed on either side
Great....thanks.
