Steps in House Complete Construction Dedicated Thread

Experts, need some help please.

Our house is easily 40+ years old. On top floor, we have three rooms and a small lounge. In two of the rooms, the roof paint keeps falling off and recently black mold has started growing all over the roof of those two rooms.

What could be the reason? Has the lanter become porous to allow moisture to seep through? What are the options to fix this? Also why is this happening on roof of only two rooms?

Kindly note the problem is present even when there is no rain for a lot of days.

dear experts pls guide
i am looking for switches in the market and found tj switches slightly better then others. only thing hindring me is that tj switches comes with plastic reinforcements instead of metal ones and my electrician says that after couple of years plactic reinforcement switches tend to loose grip and grace. over all button quality of tj was also better then other like tani, pearl and habib etc
please guide me in this regard.

I am unable to get what you mean by plastic reinforcements...
However not seen any problem in TJ even at commerical client end where it's using since last 5 years,....remaining you can decide as per ur likeness

I'm using TJ visbo V7 series from last 5 years. So far so good but I have to replace some fan dimmers. Their base plate is metal

These are called water bodies...they are after market and you can easily buy from outside according to your space and choice....there are number of designs out there in the market.....
