lafafa: Sir exactly, lots of acoustical energy is wasted in mechanical form due to flexing of the enclosure. thtas why i opt for 1 inch MDF enclosure

UPDATE:

1. Both the PG amps are installed.
2. Focal Polyglass 165CV1 installed.

Sir abhi bohat kaam hain and i am tired as hell. Doing the install after office drains me...

But i do have the plan to install the KRX2's tweets and center channel this sunday

KRX2's woofer will have to wait, since i have to damp the door and do something about the water protection

yup. but some DIY ones Since i am not gonna keep the car for long. Dont want to waste like 12k on dynamat wagaira. Just installing the setup on " Public ki pur zoor farmaish pay" lol

hahaha...sir i being one of the public, will come to lahore next month hopefully. phir wil checkout ur setup.

wasiae dynamat can be messy unless if installed properly after good solid cleaning...and if it starts peeling off due to heat (which does happen), than things can get messy!!

i wonder why dynamat uses such useless glue? i used samad bond with underlay and it looks as if it will take a screw driver and hammer to remove it now.

actually its not dynamat's fault..there are two very important things:

1) surface should be 110% clean. even a slight dirt or grease will kill the whole application...this much cleaning requires alot of hardwork. open your door panels and u will see what i am talking about. might need to use some chemicals, acetone etc to cut the dirt and grease...

2) need to use heatgun/hairdryer to make the adehsive stick to the metal surface properly. this can take quite a bit of time and effort as well

its a purely DIY venture. these audio wallahs can never do it for u. if the above to points are well taken care of, ur dynamat wont cause u any problems

i always check the wiring of the subs with a 1.5V cell. you should check it as well

lafafa, madhouse12; well that comes naturally when you install the speakers on the parcel shelf all the +ives and -ives are correct.

only 3 possibilities that i can think of for phase correction with the rear speakers and the sub.

1. install the speakers in the rear doors (which i cant)
2. Seal the rear speakers in an enclosure.
3. Fire the sub inside the cabin.
