ok so here is the type of installation i was talking about. its kind of flush mounting, and does not restrict the air flow. and doesnt look so bad either..

you can do this with your amp rack behind the seat. will be perfect. if you use plexiglass, than u will have to raise the facade a little for air flow..or install cooling fans. small CPU casing ones are more than enough. very easy to do that as well...

Here are the pangas which i did, if this wud have went successful, i had a wicked idea in mind.

But the only thing that stopped me from doing this sort of install was the RCA Jacks. The RCA jacks are screwed in with the amp cover to keep em in place and secure, otherwise they move freely...

If i use rca leads with the unsecured terminals, a minor jerk might cause the board to break.. which i dun want... anyways here is the venture

sir u have so many experts working for you, why dont u get a side plate made out of aluminum that you can use to screw the RCA jacks in? the idea of urs ir pretty nice. you should work more on it.

i think the PGs look better with their covers. they have this cool mean look..

with the circuits exposed, it will be like any other amp ....hehe...

i like the PGs chassis. so keep the clothes on

I think i will go with the simple solution/ installation now, later on will do the bling bling stuff

Updates:

Got the enclosures made. This time I used 1 inch Malaysian MDF, instead of 0.75 inch. The enclosures are rock solid and built like a tank. I hope this will in turn make the sub sing better

Also got the rear parcel shelf made for the 6.5 inch Focal Polyglass coaxial.

Sir the single sub enclosure looks like from ur other Focal 165A1 setup, did u take it out?

The reason why i opt for the 1 inch MDF enclosure was:
I went through a few reviews of the W12PRS sub, in which the subs were sent by Pioneer for reviewing, in a 1 cuft MDF enclosure made from 1 inch MDF. So i thought there must be something about the 1inch MDF

No Sir all the 3 enclosures are brand new made from 1 inch MDF. 2 are for me (1 for Honda and 1 for Corolla) and the 3rd one is for a very nice friend

i also read online that a sealed enclosure flexes alot. and it is HIGHLY recommended to make 1" sealed. denser the wood, lesser the box flex, less energy lost, more accuracy...so lots of advantages.

1" mdf is as dense as it gets.

or

if not 1" sealed, than atleast the front baffle should be 1" or double up with two sheets of 0.75" (i did this for my twin sealed enclosure)..but this type of box where u double up needs very good construction so that the layers dont rattle /does not have play

these 1" enclosures must have cost a fortune :o here in pindi just the sheet alone costs rs3.5k...!!

why dont you try city saddar road? u can get half cut sheets from a shop i know. 1 cu ft box can easily be constructed from half a sheet.

half sheets are available of 0.75" mdf...not 1"
