Strange reaction of a minor bike accident

So the other night, I was riding on the fast lane and there was darkness on the way; thanks to the usual load-shedding. I hit a biker who emerged from the U-turn out of nowhere. I applied breaks but nevertheless I hit his bike with mine.

I knew somehow mistake was mine so I was just quite and shocked while the other person angrily start abusing me in front of his wife and other folk. Then he grabbed me by my collar and so did I. At this point, he unexpectedly pull out a pistol from his shalwaar's naara and start yelling "tu janta nahi main kon hun"

I was like: "what the hell *****! are you gonna shot me over this?"

Anyway, I immediately start buttering him so that he can cool down by saying "sir mery bhi tu lage hai.. andhera bht tha etc"

Lesson learned:
> Karachi main rehna hai tu kise se panga nahi lena hai
> Overtaking while riding in fast lane = Never again.

Btw, I was waiting on a U-turn and a biker hit our car from the back and apparently it was my fault ... Lol.

I don't have a driving license atm, so I keep my temper cool and apologise just to keep the situation calm.

Goes to show that the tolerance level of people of this country has hit the rock bottom. Bro, you are lucky you escaped without any further aggravation. Offer sadka. And yes it's better to get away from a situation like this.
I have had a few similar experiences driving in islamabad myself. Just the other day, a couple of guys in a "madified" charade pulled out a gun because I overtook them (I was actually in a rush, had to go to the hospital). Thank God I got away but not before noting down their liscence plate. But one should never stop and try to be a hero with these lunatics. A special place in hell is reserved for vagabonds like these who have absolutely no regard for a human life.

Russia ki kya baat hay. Most of the cars aren't even insured.
Russia mein to Vodka awaam pani ki tarah piti hay, jis tarah truck/bus wale Bhang pite hain...
both end up doing crazy a## driving.

Used cars are cheap abroad, a BMW 2003 model 5/7 series costs about 2-3 thousand pound, even cheaper depending on condition and mileage etc....
If we were allowed to import old cars, i would've get one of them and drive like a Russian, scratches here and there, no problem mate!

Not many people are insured in Pakistan, that's why they drive carefully.

If you can afford the fuel, get an old Surf or some other massive 4x4. Install big and with big i mean very big bull bars at the front and back. Who ever dares to hit, good luck. I need that for the traffic here!

it's probably because you are kitted up for the winter e.g Proper central heating, Insulated homes, Good thermal clothing and at least Heated bathroom floor and the list goes on.

Come down 'ere, you gotta buy an AC first, then an ups, generator bla bla just to survive in the heat. And in winter, go to the loo which is freezing cold urrrgh i miss my hot shower hehe. You adapt to where ever you live for a long time. Darwin's theory :O?

No man, I barely keep myself warm, but at least there is relative peace and security, making it worth it to tolerate the cold and the wind and the rain and the snow and the blizzards.
