Suggestion: Honda City or Toyota Aqua?

Hello pakwheelers. So im aware that such comparisons may sometimes be very cliched and repetitive, but my basic question is, which one should i buy? Toyota aqua or honda city? Before you answer, let me give you an insight to my current conditions.
So i own a passo (2008) right now. And before this i owned a city. Both have been used as second cars. City was recently involved in a crash and had to go for total loss.
And passo has started sucking money for repairs. So its time to change it. Now i would like your opinions based on experience.
Should i go for city? I loved the sheer power of that car, and it never seeked repairs.
However, it is outdated, and way too expensive now for what it is.
The parts are easily available and cheaper than japanese, the drive is good. But again, it is outdated.
Aqua on the other hand, is powerful, filled with goodies, pleasure to drive (as most japanese cars are) and relatively updated as compared to city.
I am aware about how we get accidental cars here, but im not concerned about it as i have a relative in japan who exports cars, and so far he has sent us the best cars with auction sheets verified.
However, im concerned about maintenance especially about the hybrid system. So if any owners will enlighten me about aquas issues and maintenance, ill be grateful.
So please help me in deciding. And if you could support your choice with pros and cons, it will be helpful. Thanks!

get a brand new city than a used aqua and have a tension free life city has great mileage of around 14-15kml and smooth drive

First of all it is You who has to decide according to your needs. City is a sedan and aqua is a hatchback both cars belong to different category. If you want a family car with boot space then city otherwise aqua.

I really dont care about resale value as i keep my cars for atleast 5 years. I agree with what you said about city. But i owned a city in 2010. 8 years later ill be buying exactly the same car with 4 lac increase in price. No security features like airbag either, which is a shame because even the new cultus has airbags now.
Sir my main preference is comfort and a good fuel average. And, personally, more features.

I agree. Having owned a city i know how reliable it is. But again, isnt it a bit too outdated? I keep my cars for atleast 5 years so im pretty sure by that time there will be a newer model of city available, and not just a facelifted facelift of a facelifted facelift.

Sir i own a CUV and a hatchback. I really dont care about the sedan factor because we are a family of 3 and this will be used as a 2nd/3rd car. So boot space is not a preference. I agree they are different categories but i have shortlisted my choices down to these two. Im more inclined towards aqua but just a bit concerned about its hybrid parts maintenance.

Bro, it all depends on your choice, budget, inclination towards any of these 2, comfort, and many other factors.
If talking about City, you will be able to get a brand new one (and used as well), but Aqua will surely come as a used car. Low milage, model year 2015, market color model (like pearl white, etc.) And auction grade 5 or above will cost you minimum 20 Lac PKR (also depends on your luck).
If one is spending 20 Lac on Aqua, then brand new city is an excellent option, even if it's 10 years old.

Aapka 3 saal takk regular / periodic maintenance k ilawa koi dusra kharcha nai hona.
On the other hand, no doubt Aqua market ki gari hai. But agar JDM vehicles Tang karnay per aa jyein and especially Hybrid, then bohat saray local mechanics issues resolve nai kar patay, no matter, how ever good and experienced they are.
I think, both vehicles are comfortable and offer value for money. Rest, all depends on you and ultimate choice will be yours.
And...
By going through all of your comments, I have concluded that "Aapka aqua per aaya hua Hai"
If this is the case, then go for self Imported aqua!
Regular and periodic maintenance k liay parts aapko easily mill jyein gey and mechanics b. Spare parts b manage ho jyein gey, as aqua is a market ki gari.
But Yes, regarding hybrid system or other big matters, do confirm that you have a good workshop / mechanics around in your city.

Yes i totally agree with everything you said. Jdms tang nahi karteen, lekin jab karnay pe ati hain tou zindagi azaab kardeti hain.
My mother is inclined towards city, however i am inclined towards aqua. Im just concerned k kal ko agar aqua sahi nahi nikli, tou sab kahaani merey uper ajayegi

You are Welcome Bro and don't worry. IN SHA ALLAH sub acha acha ho jye ga.
Try to get aqua self imported / through your friend or relative in Japan.
Do not buy from market. Aik to guarantee nai ho gee, and, jiss aqua ki guarantee / auction sheet verifiable ho gee, wo aapko bohat mehangi paray gee.
If you wanna avoid any sort of hassles, try to get aqua with low milage and auction grade 5 or above.
Aapka kharcha to thora zyada ho ga, but woi baat, aap tensions sey bach jyein gey and jub "R / RA / RX grade" and "7 Grade" per duty aik jitni hi hai, then why not to buy an excellent vehicle?

When you get your vehicle here, do go for thorough periodic / preventive maintenance (as maintenance history may not be available or come with your vehicle).
Well, I can also give you some maintenance tips, but first, let your vehicle come.

Buying an Aqua will be a wise choice than city
Both will cost around the same for 17 lac to 19 lac depending on the variant you choose
Aqua will give more power than city and a better fuel average too
The suspension of Aqua is also way better than city
All in All bro it's japanese so what to expect from a local manufactured car

If you are ok with low ground clearance of Aqua and have to use it for small family (3-4 family members), then its better than City because of Fuel Average and goodies (push start, multi media steering, Air Bags etc

2 months ago i had the same dilemma. The big turn off for aqua was its backseat. It too cramped up for a healthy adult. I will recommend you sit in backseat of aqua and then make a choice. Passo, Vitz and even 660cc cars have more leg room for passengers in backseat than aqua.

also have a look on honda fit GP5 2014+ MODEL a very great car far superior to both city aqua i have used it for 3 months and its pick accleration build and comfort is very high level compared to both above especially acceleration is even far more than even grande.
