@UsmanAnsari:
First of all, its good to be late than never
so you are welcomed here, and good to hear you.
I have tested this "over heating" problem today in the parking of AKUH under scorching sun (I was waiting so utilized my time somehow:)), making continuous turns left and right for quite a good time with touching and feeling the motor and ECU part in the column. It was all good, no such concerns for me.
I had that thing in my mind also prior to installation (also asked the electrician for not to make thin wires touching the motor and ECU body), and its good to see that it is not over heating.
I had also heard, prior to installations, that if any electronic unit in EPS fails (like ECU/motor/sensor), the whole car comes to a stop. This is all a bogus hoax
I have driven my car the whole day as my wiring was not proper and EPS kit was not on. So if anything fails, the manual one is there for you to drive (just get the connectors out of the card and test it yourself :))
So your raised both concerns have been answered
Now, reh gaayi baat Factory Fitted kee, tau I'm more happy to use Made in Japan units installed in my car then the ones made by Pak Suzuki
You can say it as my personal taste of things
